The only positive thing I experienced was the lady at the front desk, Kim. She was sweet and super helpful. Our room had a terrible smell from the moment we walked in. I did not formally complain about this, as I already knew there were no more available rooms bc I had family that booked a room as well and was told they got the last available room. But it was like it had been lived in for a long time and cooked in daily. The dishwasher was full of clean dishes…..meaning housekeeping never put them away after cleaning. When I pulled out the sofa bed, there were pistachio shells everywhere….between the mattress and the frame and under the couch part. I’m not a complainer and typically try to not notice those type places in a hotel room. But I couldn’t help but notice these. I asked for hk to be sure to clean under the sofa the next day as it was late when I made the sofa bed. The ones on the mattress were cleaned but the floor was not.
The table in the kitchenette was so wobbly my kids couldnt even sit at it to eat a snack.
I was woken up during the night one night to what must have been ppl hanging out across the street….loud music and yelling, car alarms going off. Definitely the worst experience I’ve had at a Hilton homewood suites.
