My husband and I dream of the day we`ll retire in our magical mountain home, but before we do, we`d like to offer it up to your family to create timeless memories.
Our past guests have raved:
`... the views from the balcony are as good as advertised and you’ll even get to see wildlife on the property.`
`... the house was just perfect. Extremely clean, well stocked, and the most beautiful views!`
`... the property is spacious, clean, with views and minutes to RMNP`
`... this house is amazing! It has lovely common gathering spaces inside and out. The furnishings are quite comfortable, the linens and towels are high quality.`
We hope you experience the same when you visit! There is nothing like a late summer BBQ on our deck as the alpenglow dances across the Continental Divide, or falling asleep to the sound of Fall River, or relaxing in front of our fireplace as the snow falls.
Our property has several hundred feet of prime riverfront access, where you can fish or simply just relax. The lower patio and second floor deck (with outdoor dining) offer incredible views of the surrounding mountains, while the second floor great room has beautiful vaulted ceilings with reclaimed wood, a gorgeous rock fireplace, and a cozy study.
BEDROOMS
The home has four bedrooms: a master bedroom on the upper floor with an en-suite bathroom, on the river side of the house. There`s a huge sliding door so you can listen to the water as you fall asleep. A second upstairs bedroom with a comfy king mattress is adjacent. Downstairs you`ll find two queen bedrooms and a fifth bedroom with two single beds.
BATHROOMS
We have three full bathrooms with toilets and showers: one is attached to the master bedroom, a second is next to the den in the main floor, and a third is downstairs next to the media room
MEDIA ROOM & DEN
Our media room has comfortable reading chairs, a luxurious sofa, and a huge flatscreen smart TV with a Roku. Bring your own logins and watch whatever you want. The upstairs den has books and games to pass the time.
OUTDOOR LIVING
There`s a wonderful outdoor living space on the bank of the river for gatherings and hanging out, plus a lower patio with mountain views and our second floor deck that covers the entire front of the house. You can see mountains for miles from everywhere on our lot.
LAUNDRY & COOKING
Kitchen - Our fully stocked kitchen has everything you`ll need to cook an incredible meal, all the while staring at Deer Mountain off the enormous windows. It features a range, a full sized fridge/freezer, a microwave, dishwasher, lots of small appliances, cutlery, dishes, utensils, bowls/pots/pans and virtually anything else you may need or want.
Laundry - There`s a laundry room with a washer and a dryer that you are free to use. Please do! I try to keep the detergent stocked but don`t guarantee it, so it may be wise to bring a little of your own.
Guests will have access to our entire property: 4 bedrooms, a media room, a study, a huge great room with vaulted ceilings, a kitchen, our upper level deck and lower level patio, and our lot, which sits on the banks of Fall River, where you can fish if you have a permit.
We have entrusted the team at The Wolf Rentals to manage our home. They will likely be your main points of contact during your stay, as they have hosted 10,000 or more guests over the years and do an incredible job helping you to feel at home.
Our home is located in a lovely private neighborhood on the banks of Fall River, just outside the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It has a secluded and isolated feel and there are incredible mountain views of the Continental Divide, Deer Mountain, and Macgregor Mountain. Due to the proximity to the National Park, wildlife sightings are very, very common. At the same time, it`s a straight shot of just a few miles back into downtown Estes Park, where you`ll find wonderful shops and restaurants.
We recommend all guests visiting Estes Park rent an AWD or 4WD vehicle from October to May. We cannot assist if you get stuck! Two wheel drive is totally fine during the summer.
NO SMOKING
The home and entire property are designated as no smoking due to high fire danger. If you wish to smoke even outside, this is not a good fit.
ROAD CONDITIONS
Roads in Estes are generally pretty plowed, even in winter, but if there`s a huge blizzard, it may not be plowed exactly when you need it to be plowed. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
NONPAYING GUESTS
Insurance forbids nonpaying and non-registered guests on property. Exterior security camera present to pick up nonpaying guests and deter parties. One camera is under the deck pointing at the parking area and the other is on the back porch facing west.
AIR CONDITIONER
Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. Thankfully mountain air blows down from the high peaks and will cool down the place quickly in the evenings if you open the windows.

This house was the perfect post up for my daughter’s wedding at Della Terra. The house is comfortable, spacious and super well appointed. We would love to come back and explore more of Estes and the National Park. So much wildlife just outside the windows.

Beautiful house, beautiful views
We had a family gathering over here he weekend at this property. The master bedroom is luxurious with great views and it’s own deck space. All the bedrooms are very pleasant and comfortable. The huge dining room table accommodated our group of 8 with room to spare. The property is located very near the national park entrance, which made forays into the park very convenient.

Amazing Mountain views
The property is amazing. Loved the creek in the back of the property. Sitting on the back porch watching the colors change on the mountain tops for sunrises and sunsets was beyond anything I could imagine. The house had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable! I was nervous about not having AC, because our weather was in the 80’s during the day, but the house stayed cool with window s open. Only downside, which isn’t really a downside, just part of mountain living is: we couldn’t leave the windows open at night in case a bear breaks in. We didn’t see any bears, but we did see plenty of moose, elk, rabbits, chipmunks or ground squirrels and birds around the area. All in all, great stay!

Excellent stay in Estes Park
We enjoyed this quiet cabin located next to the Fall River. It was clean, modern, and maintained. We enjoyed the sound of the river at night. Kept windows open to fully experience it while we slept. Was great. Managers were very responsive and got back to us immediately with any questions. Tons of board games to enjoy! Would recommend to others and family actually started to look into February for bookings.

Fall River Coziness
The home is very open and roomy. The kitchen is “well used” but clean and has everything you need to cook/eat. The road to the house is very, very rough, but the home driveway is smooth, level gravel. The master bedroom and bathroom are very nice. The flower boxes are brilliantly colored blooming flowers that add to the views from the deck. The surroundings and views are spectacular!

Great house and great location!
Had a nice stay Nov. 2021, 8 adults. Plenty of space. Found the house to be clean and comfortable. Love the mid century vibe. Beds are comfy, wasn’t a fan of the pillows though…. could use a few more options there. Plenty of hot water, and laundry room very handy. The location is close to town and close to park entrance…really great! The river is right in the backyard so that was a neat feature. Saw elk laying in neighbors yard. Views are superb!! Only thing missing was a hot tub that would be the icing on the cake. Would definitely stay here again!

Mountain Paradise
Our group of eight (ages 16-adult) thoroughly enjoyed staying at this Estes Park mountain home. As soon as we arrived, we marveled at all the beautiful flowers around the property and headed down to the river. The inside of the house was similarly beautiful and spacious enough for our group to sit together for meals, but we also could spread out among the many indoor and outdoor seating options. The location was ideally located between the Rocky Mountain Park entrance and downtown. We enjoyed playing basketball, board games, and hanging out on the deck. Our group enjoyed all the surrounding area activities but couldn't wait to return to this amazing property each evening. We would love to return soon!

FABULOUS!!
I cannot write enough good things about our stay. Within 15 minutes of arrival, we saw elk walking about and drinking from the river. All from the deck of the house!
The location is great. It is outside of the busy part of Estes, but close enough to make an easy trip into town. We found that Dominos will even deliver! And sooo close to the entrance to RMNP!
With the wildlife, the sound of the river, the view of the mountains, we couldn't have asked for more from our stay. We made numerous trips down the path to walk along the river. We spent hours on the deck, drinking coffee in the morning and watching the sun set in the evening.
The inside of the house is beautiful and spacious. We traveled with three generations - ages 15 to 81. Each one LOVED the house. All the windows provide wonderful views. One of our party witnessed an elk walk by while they lay in bed one of the mornings.
There are numerous places to gather. That was really nice as our party had spent A LOT of time in cars and hotel rooms together over the previous week. The dining table is huge and great for a meal or playing games (with many to choose from in the house!). The downstairs tv area gave the younger group in our traveling party a place to hang out.
The beds are super comfortable. The bathrooms are beautiful and have great water pressure! The kitchen is equipped with anything you may need!
We all loved the decor. Not your typical showroom-type set up as in some vacation rentals. The Scandinavian/mid-century modern vibe was appreciated by all - even the 15 year old!
I'm sure I will think of more positive points to make later. There is really nothing negative to say at all! It was perfect and we all wish we had stayed longer on this leg of our road trip. We would have loved a few days to just hang out at the house, watch for elk, deer, and the hummingbirds and relax on the deck or patios. I hope we can return some day!

Rocky Mountain Retreat
The Estes Park Escape is less than a mile from the entrance to Rocky Mountain State Park, and is a few miles from the city of Estes Park. Views from the windows of the living areas and the bedrooms are peaceful. The Fall River meanders past the house and fills the rooms with the sounds of running water. Tree-covered mountains frame the scene. The Escape boasts two living areas: one on the first floor, and an open concept design on the second floor. The home has ample space for two couples or a large group to share with sufficient privacy. Because of its proximity to the park, there are other homes are nearby, but there is still enough privacy as this home enjoys a large semi-private section of the river. A large deck with dining table is a great spot to enjoy morning coffee. The flower boxes were full of colorful plants and blooms. Chipmunks, rabbits and many birds scamper about the property and we saw seven wandering elk down the street near the home. The Escape is comfortable and spacious, and well appointed. Check in and directions were simple and seamless. Finding the place for the first time can be a bit of a challenge, as the property is set off from the street, but our GPS led us right to it.

Magical vacation in a gorgeous setting!
My husband and I stayed at this property for a week and oh my... when we arrived I couldn't believe my eyes! The views were absolutely stunning! The layout is open and functional but all bedrooms are very private that are located throughout the house. Loved that all baths were updated and that deck is where we spent most of our time at! I felt like i was looking at a post card! Location is just perfect - about 10 minutes from Estes Parks shops and restaurants. Only 5 minutes drive to Fall River entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Check in and check out was a breeze. We will definitely be staying here again next year and will bring our kids next time!
