The resort is nestled between the mountains and a small stream. There was a beautiful walking path next to the river.Next time I would likely choose one of the individual cabins which have barbecues, hammocks and Adirondack chairs.

Cabin was nicely renovated and clean. Advertised as sleeping 6 but the “pull out” was a tiny futon that barely slept my 8/10yos and definitely wouldn’t have fit anyone bigger. It was also hard as a rock so they did not sleep well for 2 nights. Sheets were missing upon check in and we had to call multiple times to get assistance. Once we got thru, he came up immediately for us tho. The fixtures in the bathroom were all lose and the toilet wobbled. It looks like they did a quick Reno and didn’t work on the finishes. It looks pretty but the handles were falling off and the shower didn’t drain well at all and we were left standing in a deep puddle almost immediately. Location was great tho and the restaurant close by was good. Washing our dishes wasn’t a problem but proper cleaning supplies is important- an old sponge sitting there already dirty on check in didn’t make us feel clean at all. Would def stay here again and recommend but they need to check the small stuff and make sure the home is properly ready. We stayed in cabin 1.

Easy to check in. The room was clean and quiet. The bed wasn't the highest quality but for the price was fine. There's a nice restaurant right across we walked to. The hotel is right on a creek and lots of areas the have a cookout or bonfire along it.

Out of town. No shops nearby. Self checkin with lockbox. Staff available by phone. Prompt reply to issues. Next door restaurant but not open for breakfast. I expected a balcony by river but believe it was my error. Overall, a nice quiet room in wooded area.

Fantastic place to stay. Amazing value. Property was immaculate. There is a restaurant adjacent to the property. The room was beautifuly decorated. Shower was amazing. Nice hot water. Consistent flow. Room had all the amenities that you would desire for a comfortable night stay. Bed was very comfortable. Ample supply of pillows. There is no front desk. Everything is done remotely. Highly recommend

It was easy to check in, no office staff just a keypad on the door of the room. When I couldn’t figure out how to open the keypad to get the room key out, staff was called for help. He was sending someone out to help when I finally was able to figure it out. Room looks like it needs upgrading. The carpet was stained throughout the room.

Really good overall. But disappointed with the internet not working, made it hard to plan dinner / next day routes/maps, etc. had WiFi and access but was not able to connect with our phones or laptops. Probably too many people. We were on the first floor, and unfortunately could hear every step above us this morning at 6am. Far from ideal.

the lighting is very bad if you check in after dark. the bedding seemed dirty and very worn, overall, this place could use a major updating. the map of the property leaves a lot to be desired, the sidewalk going to the room is very steep and full of heaves and cracks, it would be dangerous in snowy conditions. Why did our room have 3 carbon monoxide detectors and one was beeping when we got there, we removed the battery to quiet it. I'm not tech savvy and had a hard time using the tv , furnace, fireplace. Lighting on the sidewalk path didn't work. Having to take care of your own trash just seems wrong We called for help to find our room, and the man helped us over the phone, that was about the only positive thing I can say about our stay.

good location very close to entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park; While price was reasonable for this area, it was more than I paid for about 8 other nights in Denver and Colorado Springs at nicer places; no front desk so a lot of self-service; couldn't figure out how to lock the door so had to spend time looking that up; clean room but room could use more light/better outlet access and being told (via email/text) to take out y own garbage when leaving seemed ridiculous/annoying given that I was paying for a hotel -- definitely an acceptable (safe/clearn) place to stay and there is a pool I didn't see/use but very low (aka no) services provided so be aware if that's important to you
