Comfortable, but needs functional updates

The staff were friendly and the room comfortable, but so many things about the hotel were broken--the elevator, the laundry, the soap dispenser, the check-in system. There were multiple inconveniences related to basic hotel functions.

Started strange but OK otherwise

Check in was a bit bizarre. They asked me if I had been there before saying that I had previously left my room in a mess. It was my first time there. 😅. Besides that, everything was smooth, room clean and comfortable bed.

My business trip plan changed and I had to leave one day earlier. The booking was done via Hotels.com and after several requests the hotel refused to refund the last night that I did not spend in the hotel. Clients should not be responsible for the eventual frictions between the hotel and Hotel.com or Expedia.com

Receptionists friendly as always. Breakfast by far not worth it. All items look like they are there since hours and all but fresh. I just took a tea and avoided things like grey ham/sausage and dry aged cheese. Unfortunately, at all my last stays I had several hairs in the bed and bathroom.
