Great Place to Stay!

This is our go to spot when traveling to visit family on our road trip. We stop here for the nice at this hotel and visit Presque Isle park for a break from the car. Great location, lots of options to choose from for food, and beautiful views of the lake.

Went to have a drink at the bar and the worked acted like she didn’t see us sitting there so they could smoke a cigarette. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the sheets didn’t fit the bed at all. Couldn’t find any help with in the hotel.

The Pool area is very bad, we wouldn't go into the pool because of a slime on the side walls and water was cloudy. the rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable and the cleaning people were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was cooked in the same room as the laundry which was right behind the front desk. The bar the advertise was just part of the front desk area with a few bar stools. the photos are deceiving. all in all....if your looking for just a room to sleep that was clean that's what you get...no real lounge and the pool ....well I wouldn't swim in it.

The staff was polite and happy to help and answer any questions. We had different expectations. The room was described as having lake views, which it did across the street several football fields as well as a traffic light blocking any real view. We are older and the beds were uncomfortable and the decor dated.

I believe the overall vibe of this hotel is based on lack of employees. All staff seemed over worked and unappreciated. The rooms were not clean, mold around all faucets. Sheets were wrinkled like they had been rolled up for a year. Front desk staff were also laundry workers. Convenient location, yes. Affordable pricing, yes. But my goodness, get some help there. Basic needs of towels, wash cloths and soap were not readily available? Breakfast foods were adequate. You cant go wrong with waffles and English muffins. Enough choices for kids and adults. Not a fan of the coffee so i drove to local gas station up the street. This hotel was recommended for the conveniet location and basic needs for our first trip in Erie. I'm hoping they address their staffing needs. Such a shame.
