What a great staff! Super friendly and able to direct for dining and entertainment. Coffee was the best hotel coffee I’ve ever had. Bed and room very comfortable. Only cons were extremely long water running time to get hot water, I guess third floor of fully booked hotel, and smallest cheapest tissues I’ve ever used. Dumb little stuff. I’d stay here again for sure, location was incredibly central to Erie and Presque Isle.

Fine Hotels for Short Stays
We’ve stayed at the Cobblestone many times as it’s a preferred location to a friend’s residence. While not the most sound proof, it is a fine hotel for short stays. This stay we were on the main floor and starting about 7:30am on Sunday a toddler from the second floor was going full Simone Biles for a least an hour. I know because I finally walked up there to see what in the world was causing such an impressive and consistent amount of thumping, running and crashing sounds. I didn’t bother the family or the staff as we were up and leaving, but if you want to ensure quality sleep, you might want to bring ear plugs.

Very disappointed. The pool was closed due to chemicals . It stated it was open 8:00 am and we were told it would be well after 11:00. There were no towels provided. Had to go and get them. No extra blanket.

Great overall
Love this place. The only thing I don't care for is the walls are 'paper thin' and you can hear anything and everything in the room next to you. Having to wait to turn in the room key because the guy behind the desk was eating.....not cool. He clearly saw, yet ignored me, and was annoyed that he had to put his fork down.

Great location - stay disappointing
We have stayed at this location at least 10 times in the past few years - the location is great… but everything else has deteriorated. The beds are old uncomfortable and need replaced. Bed Linens so used look dirty and need replaced - carpets drastically need cleaned or replaced. Had family from out of town and these accommodation were disappointing.

The place itself is fine. Clean, comfortable, right across from a marina and restaurant. The staff upon our arrival was one guy. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Can tell he actually cares about his job and the hotel. But it was quite literally just him in the whole place. He was checking people in, selling merchandise, doing laundry, cleaning, the whole 9. He was doing a fantastic job but that’s obviously not sustainable. Wish I’d have gotten his name, he was great. Hire him some help!

Ask for a room on the top floor, I could hear stomping and moving things around until 1 am even with earplugs in. I finally called the front desk and the woman who answered was super nice and said she would ask the room above me to keep it down and the noise was better. Place is safe and nice, pool is a little gross but still usable
