This is an excellent hotel for what it is, a basic hotel. The room is comfortable, shower is good and it had a balcony as well as a table where one can work, relax or eat. The hotel has a restaurant and serves a nice breakfast. Hotel staff is friendly.

A choice between privacy and oxygen

The hotel is clean and quiet but it's not suited for summer use. Top-floor rooms feel like an oven. No window curtains. In the annex building (not the one shown in the photos), there are solid exterior blinds that cut off fresh air completely, if lowered. No AC either. At least a $5 fan could be provided in the rooms. Couldn't get any sleep.

Wir fanden es gemütlich, klein und zweckmässig. Kann mir aber vorstellen, dass es im Zimmer im Sommer sehr warm wird - wir haben keine Klimaanlage gesehen.

Zimmer war sauber (wichtigster Punkt für uns) aber sehr alt. Das Inventar ist etwas zusammengewürfelt. Das Personal war unvorbereitet und haben untereinander, vor uns, über Hotel gelästert. Wir fühlten uns nicht sehr willkommen. 160CHF für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück ist viel zu teuer für den Standart. Umgebung Murtensee ist traumhaft, die Region zu erkunden lohnt sich!
