It was great, except for the fact that my phone had no dial tone so i couldnt call front desk to complain about the boys running up and down the hall. They were playing ding dong ditch and were extremely loud. They locked one of their friends out and he kept banging on their door, it was a scary sound to wake up to after 12am.

The hotel was okay and you get what you paid for however the swimming pool looks cloudy and a bit dirty, to be fair it was warm to swim in. I found under the bed a sticky trap for the bugs which was disgusting. The staffs are pleasant and attentive.

Picked this hotel particularly for the pool and slide. My kids (7 and 9) couldn’t even use it as the water was too hot. There was a broken part but we were not made aware of this until we went to use the pool. If I had known I would have chosen somewhere else to stay.

Very disappointing experience Unfortunately, during our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax – Bedford (980 Parkland Dr), a member of our family found a mouse inside our room. This was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. What makes this even more concerning is that, after this incident I did read reviews mentioning the same issue. For example, one guest reported they “found a rat in the room” and rated their stay as “2/10 Terrible.” This suggests our case was not an isolated incident. While the hotel has positive aspects (location, amenities, and staff service), it urgently needs to address pest control in order to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all guests. We strongly recommend that management take immediate corrective actions, and we advise future guests to verify that the issue has been resolved before

This hotel is excellent, From the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The guy and the beautiful lady ( that was training for a few hours that day) at the front desk ,that i didnt get their names were very courteous and friendly. We would like to have experienced more consistency with the towels. On arrival our towels were thick and soft but each day of our several night stay this initial quality was not maintained. We did enjoy the use of the pool but found the room to be very hot.

The cleanliness of the property is great and is located in a convenient area with parks, stores, and restaurants nearby. Customer service was at times below average and at moments very poor. There were a couple of instances where we were questioned by staff for asking for extra towels or an extra blanket. Staff were reluctant to bring it and explained to us that we already have it in our room or that they had no extra blankets to give out. We were only given towels for 2-3 guests when we stated and paid for 4 guests, this did not seem to be relayed to house cleaning services and was a constant need for request on our 4 night stay- at times just dealing with limited towels. Next, staff members and a manager were seen being confrontational with another guest at the breakfast buffet, accusing them of going up too many times and telling them “they’ve had enough to eat”. I was very disappointed to see such distasteful customer service at this establishment. Many nearby guests were uncomfortable with the customer service displayed. The buffet was also not able to keep up with the capacity of guests and was constantly running out of hot food items at the same time (bacon, sausage, eggs). Lastly, the gym facilities could be improved as it has poor ventilation and stale odours.

This hotel provided a wonderful stay. They were even able to accomodate an early check in for us. The location is good as well, as there are several restaurants/stores just around the corner (in walking distance). It also has good highway access. The breakfast spread was quite good too. Overall, an excellent stay - thank you!

Stayed 3 nights. Only had room straightened, trash emptied once, didn’t even make the bed- just pulled comforter up.
