With amenities like central air conditioning (unusual in our beach community), WiFi, Sonos, outdoor lighting, central heating, full sized washing machine & dryer, game room, large fenced yard to play and have dogs! Our sweet home has vaulted ceilings and original hardwood floors. The kitchen and bathroom have been preserved with the charm of the original home. Kitchen has tons of amenities and everything you need, including: filtered water tap, microwave, full oven, gas stove, "Our Place" convection/air fryer, dishwasher and CuisineArt grind-your-beans with every batch coffee maker. Fun dishes, glasses and cookware.

TVs in every bedroom and pivoting TV mount in living area. Even though we have central heat and air conditioning, you'll love the ceiling fans in every bedroom and in the main room. Lots of light and charm!

Outdoor casita is set up as a game room with mini-fridge and TV.

Encinitas is a very special beach town. Everyone falls in love with it here. We are walking-close to Moonlight Beach and easy walks to StoneSteps, Beacon's, D Street, Swami's and Grandview Beaches and to downtown Encinitas -- with many wonderful restaurants for every type of food choices -- from vegan & veg to sushi, steak & seafood -- stores, outdoor bizarres & street fairs, entertainment, theater, bars & breweries and don't forget sunsets, sunrises, volleyball & fire pits at the beach! We are close to the Self-Realization Fellowship and Gardens. We are train track close: you are not likely to hear it when inside with doors closed. It's not unusual to have million dollar homes along the train track and beaches of Southern California. We are walking distance to one of the best Farmer's Market (on Sundays) and to Orpheus dog park (off-leash) and child's playground.

Our yard is completely fenced in and is a lovely place to spend time outside, with fire pits, couches, chairs, umbrellas and games. We have a BBQ grill and propane tanks. We provide towels for the beaches as well as Boogey/body boards!

RING cameras are on the exterior of the property for your protection. We also give you access to our Sonos system so you can have the music you love inside and outside!! Automatic lights outside for your safety and mood lighting in the yard for night time games. This is a wonderful family and gathering home. No parties allowed so we can keep peace with our neighbors.

The driveway is gated and can park 2-4 cars (depending on size of vehicles and how ambitious you are) along with street parking on Orpheus & on Vulcan.

Encinitas is known for having all types of yoga classes in many styles. There are fitness centers, gyms, lots of shopping, Trader Joe's within easy walk or drive. Close drive to LegoLand, Wild Animal Park, Carlsbad outlet mall and freeway close to jump on and head to downtown San Diego.

Cottonwood park is a couple of blocks from our home and offers: pickleball & tennis courts, child's' playground, basketball, picnicking and more. Orpheus Park is right up the hill and offers off-leash play for dogs, has a child's playground, locals playing live music on Friday nights (not in the "winter"). Great place to picnic and have a glass of wine and watch our amazing sunsets.

The world renowned Self-Realization Fellowship & Gardens are in our beautiful town. Easy walk or drive. Enjoy the view of the ocean from the property. Lots of wonderful restaurants and beaches along the way.

We love dogs and have a fenced in yard with artificial turn for your family and your canine. Sorry, no cats, due to allergies.

Please ask us about special pricing for longer stays. Available for multi-month stays. We require our cleaning people to come and clean once a month for longer stays.

We can provide recommendations for: massage, dog sitter/walker...ask us what else you need/want!

House Rules:

NO smoking in the house. Guests who smoke in the house will be charged for any cleanup, including repainting of walls for any damage. Ok to smoke outside if you clean up. Any debris, butts, etc. left behind will be a $100 charge.

We have provided a dog-friendly environment and we ask that you pick up all dog feces and hose down the yard before you leave. There is a $100 charge for any poop left behind.

No loud outdoor music after 10pm. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
