Seas the Day makes it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful, pristine beaches and crystal clear waters of Emerald Isle, one of the least crowded beaches in the Southeast. (Readers Digest #1 Beach in NC in 2024)

Stay here and enjoy the entire East side of this beautiful duplex all to yourself. Privately relax on one of four decks or spend the evening on our private patio in back. Hop on the included golf cart or take a short walk or bike ride to the ocean or the sound. It’s less than a two-min walk down a quiet street with virtually no traffic to get to the private beach access for the neighborhood. There's no public parking nearby, so you don't have to share your beach paradise with crowds. A 2-min walk the other way is the public boat launch for a lovely sunset or fishing spot, and an amazing playground. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place for your family and friends to enjoy Emerald Isle, you are warmly welcome to stay in our home.

Each of the three upper bedrooms have their own deck and smart TVs. Blackout curtains for a good night's rest in each room. Ground level bedroom has twin over full bunk bed, board games, life-size games and a smart TV.

TOWELS & LINENS INCLUDED: Bath towels and bed linens are provided at no charge to our guests.

We supply basic cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials like foil, plastic wrap, basic seasonings, ground coffee, dishwasher detergent and hand soap. We supply toilet paper and paper towels to get your vacation started.

2 Beach umbrella, 8 beach chairs, 4 bikes (2 adult and 2 medium) and tons of beach toys available to use, so no need to pack or rent those. All you need is your beach towels!!

One Kayak is available for your use (with life jackets). Sound access is across Emerald Drive.


HOUSE RULES

1. Primary renter through VRBO must be over 25 AND present during entire stay.
2. NO SMOKING/VAPING. We request that guests do not smoke/vape inside or near the house - we pride ourselves on providing a "smoke-free" environment.
3. We ask you to rinse off in our outdoor shower after any beach time.
4. NO PARTIES/EVENTS
5. We will ask all reservations to confirm the maximum number of 11 guests (max of 8 adults)

OFF LIMITS/LOCKED AREAS: Thank you for respecting that the locked owners' closets and cabinets are kept locked and off-limits to guests.

GOLF CART RULES: Please enjoy our golf cart, but follow Emerald Isle's Golf Cart Regulations. IF you get a ticket, we will pass this fee on to you. To drive the golf cart lift the drivers seat up, push the button on the battery in, put seat back, turn on LCD screen on dash by holding power button down for 2 sec, then turn key to on. When finished driving for the day be sure to take key out and turn off battery. When battery is low as indicated on LCD screen, use drop cord to plug it in for charging.

1. Seat belts must be worn at all times. Police will issue a ticket for all riders.

2. No one under the age of 18 may operate the golf car at any time.

3. You CANNOT drive on sidewalks or bike paths at any point on the Island. EI police will ticket you and we will not be responsible.

4. At NO time can you drive on the main HWY 58 or COAST GUARD ROAD. You can cross it at any point on the Island.

5. Golf carts must be operated in accordance with all applicable state and local traffic laws and ordinances. All ordinances pertaining to the possession of consumption of alcoholic beverages. If you get a DWI or DUI, our tag will be revoked for one year and you will be subjected to a $500.00 fine.

SECURITY. We have 2 exterior security video cameras facing the driveway and carport that are always on 24/7.

THINGS TO DO:

Seas The Day is located in the private oceanside community of Shell Cove, which is a great area to walk, bike or rollerblade. Emerald Isle is bike-friendly with bike paths along the major roads. (We supply a 4 bikes and a pump for tires)Bike or walk to the Emerald Plant Shopping 2.5 miles away. You can walk easily to the pier via the beach (about 2 miles away). Emerald Plant. Shopping, Food Lion or Publix, water park, cinema, shopping, mini-golf, restaurants, canoe and kayak rentals and surf shop are only 2-3 miles away. You'll often find wonderful tidal pools on our beach during low tide. Bring flashlights to look for crabs at night and a pair of binoculars to watch the dolphins or birdwatch. Fishing: The Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier is a 2-mile walk on the beach to right. Surf fishing is popular especially when the beaches are quiet. We’ve tried to stock the kitchen with necessary utensils and cookware. If anything is missing, please tell us so we can address the problem. Food/Grocery: Note that the grocery stores are swamped on Saturday when new people arrive.

• Publix – next to Emerald Plant. Shopping Center. They offer online ordering and curbside pick-up through Instacart.

Seas The Day was the perfect spot for our family. Plenty of space with all the amenities, including lots of toilet paper, soap, toiletries, and even sound machines in all the rooms! Which meant I overpacked . Check-in was a breeze, and the house was clean upon arrival. It’s a well kept beach house and great location. We couldn’t ask for anything more. The owners were very communicative the whole time. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we make it to Emerald Isle.

This property included so many extras and things that we used for the beach and exploring. The kitchen is fully stocked, there's even soap in the showers and beach toys/chairs/umbrellas to use. This property did not disappoint and I am hoping to stay again in the future. It's priced really well. There's bicycles and a golf cart for getting around. It's perfectly located to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The pier was great for sunsets, seeing crabs and fish, plus it has a playground beside it which is all walking distance. There's even a kayak to use on the property, would have liked to have 2 though. The beach is so close and so clean and quiet, perfect for watching dolphins, collecting sea shells and building sand castles or sunbathing. The water is clear and beautiful. The point isn't far and it's one of the most beautiful places to watch the sunset. Riding a bike there is worth it if you don't want to worry about parkingand then walking. It's an incredible experience. All of the shops and grocery stores are close by. The hot tub was perfect and the outdoor shower was used more than the indoor shower, so convenient and exhilarating before/ after the hot tub and sandy beach. The outdoor seating and the propane fireplace were perfect for relaxing at night. We loved the twinkle lights. Very relaxing and a perfect touch for a full relaxing experience. The way this house is set up was perfect for my family and everyone had their own space but perfect common areas and porch

House was great - clean , comfortable, equipped with everything you could need. Excellent host, good communication. Hot tub, Golf Cart, minutes from the beach. Reclining sofas, memory foam beds, good shower pressure.4th bedroom is ground floor - it was the room you enter the house into, was a bit cold/removed so two youngest decided to share the two bed room on the 3rd floor but they were comfortable so they didn’t complain. Also 1/2 bath/shower listed is the outdoor shower, we stayed in March/April so too cold out for use.Place suited our needs perfectly, thanks for the hospitality. Definitely reflected well kept, pride in ownership, would stay again!

We went back and forth for several weeks looking for the perfect house, to bring our family, to enjoy the beach for a few days. Seas the Day, was the PERFECT house! They have thought of everything! The younger kids enjoyed the game room and the older teens and young adults enjoyed the upstairs rooms. The main floor was perfect for hosting and gathering. The hot tub, outdoor scenery, short golf cart rides to the beach were icing on the cake. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

This three story house is spacious, comfortable and beautiful. It is laid out perfect for larger families and friends. Equipped with everything you need for a comfortable, fun stay at the beach! Great location for a short walk(or golf cart ride!) to the beach, fun activities for all ages and great restaurants nearby. We stayed for the week of the 4th of July and it was phenomenal watching fireworks from the multiple decks on the house and on the beach. The outdoor shower and hose made cleanup from the beach so quick and easy! Our children had so much fun making s'mores over the fire pit, being taken on golf cart rides, and enjoyed having their own spaces around the house. There are plenty of beach accessories(chairs, umbrellas, coolers, blanket, toys and more) for everyone!The washer and dryer were especially nice to have available for use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seas the Day and hope to visit again one day!

Best Beach Vacation

The house was a home away from home! It was clean and decorated very nicely. The beds were comfortable and we alll slept so well. We prepared most of our meals ourselves. I was very pleased with all the little things to make this trip amazing like use of a propane grill, golf cart, beach items and toys and well stocked kitchen. The host was quick to respond to any and all questions we had and was wonderful to work with.

This is a phenomenal property!!! The beach is closer than we thought, just a short walk and you’re there. The house was decorated lovely. An amazing week!! The house was beautiful and clean!! The owners provided a lot of the necessities that made our stay more convenient and fun!! It was a short walk to the beach and the golf cart helped to get us and our beach gear to the beach much easier! The house layout worked great for our family! The owners were so wonderful to work with. They responded quickly and would check in on us to make sure we had what we needed! Our first trip to Emerald Isle and I would say not our last!! Great location and beautiful home!

We had a wonderful time at Seas the Day, Mandy and Joey’s place. The location was perfect, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood while still close to all the attractions. The outdoor shower was perfect for the beach days and all the beach accessories that were available for use was great! The grill was great for dinners at home, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the afternoons listening to the beach. The house itself was the perfect size for our family and the had everything we needed for our week long stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Family Vacay!

Seas the Day was perfect for our multi-generational family beach trip! Mandy was very responsive and helpful for all of our questions. The property was decorated so nicely, was immaculately clean and there is plenty of parking. The location is great - convenient to the beach as well as grocery stores and activities. The beach is a short 3 - 5 minute walk. We also enjoyed the playground that was across the street on the sound side - lots of different play equipment there. There were so many little details and extras included that made the week extra special. The use of the golf cart was so much fun for everyone, and it was so nice that all the beach chairs, toys and boogie boards were already there. It was so wonderful to not have to pack sheets and towels, and toilet paper, soap and paper towels were also provided! We enjoyed using the gas grill for dinner and the gas fire pit for s'mores one evening. The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed for making meals and baking. There were plenty of areas for everyone to hang out - whether to watch TV or to read on the porch. I appreciated all the small details - the labels on the light switches, ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms, noise machine in the upstairs master, extra fan, extra blankets, the fact that the curtains were large enough to cover the whole window! All those things that gave the comforts of home. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!

Pure Bliss

It is easy to say that Seas the Day is “home away from home.” We spent most of our time enjoying all of the wonderful amenities Mandy and Joey have to offer. We loved being able to ride bikes throughout the neighborhood, drive the golf cart around, and most importantly enjoy the beautiful backyard! The landscape looked so freshly kept during our stay. The neighbors we saw on walks were so friendly and truly all of the people in Emerald Isle we encountered. Fun things I suggest to do while you stay would be going to Swansboro and eating at Yannas! The best burgers. For seafood one night we grabbed Capt. Frost (a short drive from this stay) and got fresh shrimp. We grilled out at the house and enjoyed watching basketball on the huge living room TV! Another recommendation while staying would be to go to the Friendly Market and grabbing some easy bake and take dishes to cook at the house. (Although the house is fully stocked with all the things to cook a homemade meal) we grabbed a few dips and lunch sliders for convenience. I also want to mention how amazing the house looked, everything felt so lavish! The bedding was super clean and fresh. I felt completely comfortable throughout the entire stay. Mandy communicated well and answered any questions we had. We had lots of laughs and sweet memories at this little slice of heaven. I couldn’t recommend staying with Mandy and Joey more. We will of course be back to stay again. 😊
