Location: Turner’s Corner is ideally situated directly across from the boardwalk, just a short stroll to the stunning beaches of the renowned “Point” neighborhood! Known for its expansive sandy beaches on the ocean side and gentle shores leading to the sound, “The Point” offers the perfect backdrop for long walks through untouched nature and breathtaking sunsets.

Vaulted ceilings and high windows fill the home with natural light – showcasing the cottage’s open floorplan, with living and sleeping quarters all on one level.
Kitchen: The well-appointed kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, soft-close cabinets, and includes the following:

Nice Weekend Getaway
Strengths:
-The beach! Directly across from beach access, it was a 3 minute walk to the beach which meant the kids could run back and forth from the house if they needed anything.
- Front porch rockers were the family favorite. There is not an ocean view but you can hear the ocean and feel the breeze. We spent more time on the porch than in the house.
- Though we didn’t use them, there are Roku tv’s in each bedroom and one in the living room.
- Close to the beach and close to everything else in Emerald Isle. It was really a great location.
-Bed linens and towels were provided (each enclosed in plastic wrapping). You made your own bed but at least you knew they were clean.
-Keyless entry made it a breeze to check-in and check-out.
-Email communication from property management group was thorough so no need to reach out for anything.
-Microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, and traditional coffee pot were available for use.
Growth Opportunities:
- Time to update a few items in the home. The couch’s are light colored and show wear easily, it’s definitely time for a deep clean. The living area rug is unraveling and is a bit of a trip hazard. The bath mats are also showing excessive wear and need to be replaced. Consider changing shower curtain hooks to plastic? The metal hooks and rod are rusted so my kids had difficulty with closing/opening the shower curtain.
- Not a big deal, but couldn’t find an iron.
