Aberdeen Douglas Hotel

Aberdeen was a great place to stay. Right on the ocean west side of Scotland. Many things to see and do there. Hotel was great-very convenient for walking. Quite a variety of food available

This hotel is very convenient to the train station. There is a small grocery store right across the street that is nice to have if you forget something. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a little tired, but clean and perfect for our one night stay.

Ideal for us for an overnight stay. We had a meal booked at Mollys Bistro and a show at the Tivoli. Room was spacious and had all we needed. Walls a bit thin, as we were woken up by next doors toddler having a tantrum at 3 in the morning, and again at 7 when he started again. Not the hotels fault though. Breakfast was great, and a short walk back to the station to head home.

Our room on the first floor was above a very loud function. We were not told of the function. At 10 PM we called the front desk and they told us that they should have informed us of the function and moved us to the fourth floor. There was no working elevator and the fourth floor was 85° and there was no way to turn off the heat so we had to open the windows And then we could still hear the function from the first floor When we spoke to the staff about it, they could care less and we’re very rude

We were placed in a 1st floor above a room hosting an event. Very loud! They moved us to a 4th floor room at 10pm. They said we should have been warned. The elevator was broken at 10 PM. We had to move all of our belongings up for flights to our new room. That room was 80° and there was no way to turn down the heat. They shoukd gave refunded our room.
