Welcome to Cartecay Castaway, a one-of-a-kind retreat nestled right on the banks of the Cartecay River. Just 10 minutes from downtown Ellijay and charming orchards, this cottage is made for romance—soak in the riverside hot tub under the stars, shower outdoors surrounded by nature, and sip wine by the fire. This cute cottage has so much to do with tubing,kayaking,fishing or stepping right into the river for a swim.its fun to just sit back and watch other tubers float down the river all day long.Families are welcome too, with a cozy bunk room and kid-friendly amenities that make it easy to relax and reconnect together. The home features a serene king bed in the open loft, a cozy queen bedroom on the main floor, and a kids’ bunk room with a full and twin bed—perfect for families. There are 1.5 baths, plus an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a soak in the riverside hot tub or a day on the river.

Relax by the firepit, cook out on the Blackstone grill, or unwind with TVs throughout the home. You can log into your Netflix or Hulu accounts. We proudly use only non-toxic cleaning products, and our beds are dressed in organic cotton sheets to give you the healthiest and most restful stay possible. Dont hesitate, book this beautiful mountain getaway! There were so many wonderful things that exceded our expectations. The home was beautiful and very clean, and in a great location. We enjoyed everything about this stay from the eucalyptus hung in the showers to the spacious deck and hot tub. There were so many great things about this place, we are already planning our next trip here. This property was by far the best rental that my wife and I have booked. Perfect for our family of 5 there was so much for the kids to do like swimming in the river, fishing, board games, and much more.
