We checked in at 11:30 pm after a very long day on the road, so we had to ring the bell to get in. The owner was friendly and quick about check in. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were soft. I felt totally safe in the parking lot, through I wouldn't have wanted to walk down the street alone late at night.

This is a clean, well apportioned property with one exception. The toilet in our room is what I would call a "trainer" toilet. The seat height barely reached the bottom of my knee joint (I'm 5'5"). Fortunately (or unfortunately) I am also in my mid 70's. It was excruciatingly difficult to, at my age get up from this especially since there no assist bar. Other than this I would give it a 9. So if you're young -- a great deal.

The stay was great, rooms were good but there was a couple things that could use some attention. 1) the AC unit did work, but not that great. It was near 100 degrees outside and the AC was on full, but it was still warm in the room and made it difficult to get a good sleep. I prefer it to be a little cooler. The rooms near the road can get a little bit of road noise. There was also a broken wooden piece that went to the bench near the bathroom that needed to be repaired. Other than that, the rooms were very well maintained and clean. The price was great so I would probably stay there again if available.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and slept well. The hotel is older, and has been updated. This is a very good value. I would definitely stay here again.

At Second glance it looked better

We booked late and arrived late after driving from Yellowstone. Everything worked smoothly and was ready when we arrived. Price seems fair. There is plenty of parking, neighborhood looks safe. Some iditols were yelling outside in the middle of the night. Clean, very quiet for being in town. Beds comfortably. It looks like someone started a renovations. Still needs a few fixes. A mirror on the wall is only attached with one screw and the box for tissues keeps falling off the wall. Plenty of towels. However, when we first entered the room, we were taken back. The smell was awful, and it made the room look dingy and dirty. The AC looks dirty and smells horrid. We were lucky enough that it was a cool night and we could open the windows and only use the fan.
