We booked 3 nights in a hotel apartment. The first night we spent in a small room and it was not the same apartment we booked, the reception closes at 1pm so we couldn't do anything. The next day we spoke to the only receptionist there who couldn't speak English and was using a translation app, she admitted the mistake and promised to try to exchange the room for an apartment or deduct the city tax which is a very small amount! Fortunately they were able to change rooms but due to lack of time and because the cleanliness is not the best in this place we received the place unclean they did not even change all the bed covers and I had to clean the toilet myself. And because we moved from one place to another and waited for the place to be ready we wasted a whole day. After all this when we left the place they gave us a very very small discount almost negligible from the city taxes. This was our worst experience with hotels.

Zweckmäßig und sauber

Zum ersten Mal in Wernigerode übernachtet. Da ich das Schwesterhaus in Ilsenburg kenne, dachte ich "probiere es aus". Die Lage ist ruhig, trotzdem Recht zentral. Für eine Feierabendwanderung perfekt gelegen. Das Zimmer war klein, zweckmäßig. Das WLAN sehr gut. Leider wurde bei der Einrichtung des Fernsehers auf eine Sendersortierung verzichtet. Ich werde sicherlich bei einer der kommenden Touren erneut hier übernachten.

Would stay here again if I had a big group

Our room was huge, way bigger than we needed. Check in was a bit difficult. At first the code she gave me to get my key didn't work and then she didn't explain that I needed to go to the room on the side of the building. There is a deep tub but no Sauna even though they advertise one as an amenity so that was disappointing but they're doing construction behind the building so that could be why. The parking lot was full when we arrived which was a pain but the street parking is free.

Auf der Buchungseite waren zwei Badezimmer angegeben, aber nur eins vorhanden! Im Badezimmer ist ausreichend Platz und ein Wasseranschluss für eine Waschmaschine vorhanden, aber keine aufgestellt! Die Eingangstür der Ferienwohnung liegt direkt gegenüber vom Parkplatz und besteht überwiegend aus durchsichtigem Glas. Somit kann jeder in die Ferienwohnung reinschauen kann.Durch die Baustelle neben der Ferienwohnung war der Parkplatz durch Baugeräte teilweise blockiert, sodass wir uns einen Parkplatz auf der Straße in der Nähe suchen mussten.

Wäre super, wenn das System funktioniert

Man muss wissen, wie das System funktioniert. Es ist eine Kette und eine Zentrale gibt Auskunft. Man kommt zwischen 15.00-20.00. Da ist keiner da. Man klingelt und bekommt mit jemandem zu sprechen, aber die Leitung war in meinem Fall schlecht. Dies hat schon die Frau am Telefon sehr genervt. Man bekommt ein Pin und Zugang zum Haus. Leute vor mir, hatten 2 Stunden gewartet. Hatte ich Glück ? Dazu WLAN ging nicht und der Parkplatz war nicht eindeutig. Ich hatte ein Familienappartment, war groß und sauber. Geschirrtücher haben gefehlt und Eisfach war fast voll mit Eis.

Ein hübsches Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Ein schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert. Allerdings gibt es zu wenig Stauraum. Das Bad ist relativ klein. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist gut. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Einfach, aber sauber

Wer sich vom Navi führen lässt, wird sich wundern, weil am Ziel kein Hotel steht. Nach Befragung eines netten Anwohners, erfährt man, daß es. anderen Hotelgästen ebenfalls so erging. Zum Glück ist die Wegbeschreibung dann einfach zu befolgen. Die Hotelzimmer und das Frühstück sind i.O. Fussweg bis zum Zentrum ca.30 Min. Spaziergang.

Rigtig fin ferielejlighed, hvor der er fint plads til 5 personer. Eget køkken med alt inkl. opvaskemaskine. Adgang til have med udsigt til slottet i Wernigerote. Beliggende i beboelsesområde nær centrum. I umiddelbar nærhed ligger der også et trinbrændt, der giver mulighed for spændende togtur med damplokomotiv til Bloksbjerg (Brocken).

The room and hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was quite small and squishy for two people but if you are only using it to sleep at night and sightseeing during the day then it is fine. The bathroom shower head wasnt the best but the water was hot. We had to pay an additional $15 Euro for our stay as tourist tax that we were not aware of when we booked the room. Knowing the full price before booking would have been nice. I'm not against paying the tax as it services the tourist facilities that I used while there.
