We stayed here specifically for New Years Eve to enjoy the historic Hotel Bar. It turned out the hotel held an event you had to buy tickets to enter it. We would have had we known. The hotel did a horrible job notifying the guests of the limited bar availability. One would think hotel guests would have been given entry but the hotel likes money more than ratings.

Staff was great. We were disappointed not to stay in the historic part of the hotel and were notified we were "upgraded" at checkin. That meant a bigger room but not in the historic part. Otherwise lovely hotel decorated for the holidays and helpful staff all around. Thanks!
