This stay was an unmitigated disaster and far below standard, characterized by misrepresentation, unacceptable cleanliness, and nonexistent service. The experience began with a bait-and-switch room discrepancy, requiring us to negotiate and pay extra to receive the large family room we originally booked. The entire resort and bungalow area were dirty and unmaintained, suggesting the property is barely operating. Service was abysmal; staff appeared to be awakened for the late breakfast and conveyed a distinct lack of hospitality or awareness of us as guests. They have only 3 staff in whole resort.Compounding these issues, the grounds were dangerously dark at night due to lack of lighting, and the essential Wi-Fi was non-functional throughout our stay We condemned the resort as the "worst ever" and strongly recommend that if the owners cannot maintain proper service—especially during the off-season—they should cease operations immediately, and Expedia should remove this property (Verde Blu Bungalow) from its recommendations.
