This is a hard review,I rarely write reviews and this was inconvenient enough that I feel that I must share my experience.We arrived late at around 11:30 pm.We book hotel at 10:30pm thru Expedia (Expedia was wonderful) arrived at property to get checked in to our king size bed we took the elevator up after a few issues with me using my Métis status card for ID ..the attitude of clerk did change when I pulled out my Amex gold card mind you..that was the first wrong impression then we proceeded to room ..floor was under major renovation (not mentioned about property)Whole building had flooded)anyways we were tired so we put our stuff down and went to use washroom ..toilet paper off roll everywhere..Ok np pretty minor but then the toilet was broken completely..then I noticed shower was dirty ..ok strange looks like staff had possibly used?Well toilet broke so we went downstairs to get room switched..Well after about 5 mins clerk came out after me calling out.He took awhile changed our room saying it was better bigger room but it was late by now.He didn’t mention it’s 2 double beds.there we go 45 mins later going up to our room,we walk in to a non updated room with 2 double beds.why on earth didn’t he tell us this as we said it must be a king bed.why send tired guests back up 2 a room they didn’t want.ok back down to reception we told him this is unacceptable at this hour so can you please touch base with Expedia and let them know you have no king beds and he didn’t.We left hotel
