This is a large hotel and it was fully booked when we stayed. We stayed for 3 nights, including Friday and Saturday evenings. While it was busy and loud during the day, by quiet time, the hotel was appropriately quiet. The staff were friendly and the location was convenient, near a grocery store and restaurant (Boston Pizza though it was closed one of the days we were there) with access to major roads. Our room was a standard room, with one double bed with a pullout sofa; the room was a comfortable size. We appreciated having a microwave and a small refrigerator. The room met our expectations, and we can recommend it for travellers

Always nice

We always stay here when we travel to Edmonton. We get a comfortable safe stay they have everything you need in the room and at a good price. I only had one complaint unfortunately, there was an event going on downstairs and the music/bass was so loud it was vibrating the items in the bathroom. This was till 1030pm. We called front desk to ask if they could ask them to turn it down just a bit because that was ridiculous and they said they would, but nothing happened. So we called again about 15 minutes later and they shut the music off by 1030. The next morning I was checking out and told them about what happened, and the manager on duty was really nice and gave us a free night for the noise that we will be using in August. Thank you!

The first night we got there we went to the pool, it was extremely dirty. There was what looked like excrement in the hot tub and black dirt all around the outside of it. The pool floor felt mouldy and slippery. The front desk staff that booked me in and I felt with were all rude. The one nice person was the lady who checked us out. Tried to ask multiple staff for towels, they never came. Nobody answered the guest service line either. Upstairs smelt like dog urine, elevators were slow and only one worked. Rooms dirty and old. It was just nasty.

Pros: room was very clean and reasonably priced. Front desk staff was friendly. Cons: Room smelled like stale smoke and was a bit dated. Homeless people outside our window in the parking lot. Soap dispenser in our bathroom was empty/did not work.

There was a young lady at the front desk who was pretty disrespectful every time I had engaged with her in terms of purchasing the snacks and drinks next to the front desk, and every other question I had besides that was responded with a look of disgust which was unprofessional and just of bad taste in general. One thing that was apparent with each of these encounters which I’m still wondering about is that when there was white people around she would treat them with a better attitude and demeanor while I was just treated the worse, I was raised to treat people with respect and I don’t know what I did to have this lady at the front desk to treat me like that every time I had a question. Besides all of that treatment from her everything else was really great, lived the room, and housekeeping staff were very nice and respectful.
