Upon checking in the manager refused to allow me to use my debit card to pay for the room even tho I had a credit card for the deposit. I stay with the IHG hotels regularly and have never come across this problem. He wanted me to pay all of it on my credit card and then I could pay with debit upon check out, which would result in the hotel holding extra funds on my credit card. His other solution was to cancel my reservation and pay online with my debit card through Expedia which would have increased my rate room. It made no sense to me. Rooms are outdated compared to other IHG and the gym was incredibly hot, making a session nearly impossible. Pool and hot tub were closed for “regular maintenance” but there was no warning of such until you checked in. There was also hair around my bathroom sink when I checked in, definitely will not be returning.
