Very clean rooms with much improved beds since the refit. Sadly the look is more corporate and has lost the cosy Scottish feel. There was only one usable socket in the room which was limiting since most were 5amp.

The room was a great size, the shower was fantastic, and the room was clean and fresh. It was quiet at night giving a peaceful sleep. The gentleman at the reception when we arrived was proffessional and helpful. The only thing i wished was that there was more seating areas to relax in near the bar and restaurant. Room very comfortable and clean. Bed and pillows great and coffee replenished and plentiful. Only thing I would say is it is not clear if fridge in room is working. It appeared to be cold one day but not next. Food and service at bar were both lovely.
