New reviews! Best hotels in Easter Island

Wotif Verified Review
5 / 5
My wife wrote this review as she loved the place so much. But I share her enthusiasm:
The staff was really good, it felt like coming home to grandma’s house, as it is true to its name: Grandma’s house, where you are treated with kindness and love. The place has a family feeling. You can see the photos of the family in the main reception area. Maria and Javiera greeted us with warmth and explained the history of the house.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. As they only serve breakfast at Hare Nua, Maria recommended places to eat on the island and her recommendations did not disappoint. Oh! Talking about breakfast, it was amazing! Different food & fresh juices everyday. It was so perfect that it was the highlight of my day. The room was spacious and there was a balcony to sit outside. There is also a mezzanine lounge area where my husband and I could spend some time relaxing with a book. There is a lovely garden as well with a pool & jacuzzi.
All in all it was a lovely hotel and if it was not so far away for us it would be our place to stay regularly!! We also booked an excursion with them and it was one of the best excursions we have had in our travels - the knowledgeable & engaging guide Vai clearly loves her island and has many stories about its people. If you are looking for a great place to stay while visiting this lovely island we highly recommend the Hare Nua.
See pictures of bananas growing in the garden, the sea-view from our balcony & moái-shaped butter!
