PRIVATE LARGE UPDATED HOME , MINUTES AWAY FROM WINERIES AND BEACHES

This private home is absolutely ideal for family gatherings "down the Cape" with over sized rooms, this home allows for enjoying your families company without being on top of each-other. There are many places to gather for great meals, long conversations and major game nights. The high ceilings and hardwood flooring give you a sense of space, and with its large windows the backyard and pond become part of the scenery in every room. The solarium windows in the great room, bring the outside in, and allows you to watch the wildlife and the ducks and swans on Mill Pond. The Fireplace in the family room, creates a cozy feel when needed, and the back porch is a tranquil retreat during the summer months . This property is less than one mile form the Cape Cod Winery, its less than 3 miles to Menauhant Beach. Parking for the Marthas Vineyard ferry is less than 10 minutes away. In fact The Island Queen ( the smaller of the transportation's to MV island) is just a 10 minute drive . Other smaller and major beaches are with in 5-10 minutes. One of the best Ice Cream Shops is just up the hill ..Smittys Ice Cream. This home allows your family to have a private escape, but all the while having any thing and everything with in minutes . Wedding rental

This is our first VRBO experience, so we do not have a basis for comparison. It was a destination wedding for our older daughter. The house had the characteristics that we needed- dog friendly, two full baths and bedrooms for 5 adults. The rooms and baths were good. We never received the address for the property. We found it through a real estate listing. The combination for the door to get in was not accurate and it took several texts with property manager to get in. The same with the Wi-Fi address and password. We were able to access only one TV. There were several thermostats but only one worked, but we could not get the temperature below 73 on the first floor and upstairs was hotter. Fortunately, the heat wave did not come until after we left. It appears that there is only one working HVAC unit which is insufficient for a house of this size. The kitchen was well equipped, and we were able to use it as we wanted. We were very busy until our daughter's wedding on Friday, so we did not attempt to contact the property manager after getting the Wi-Fi set up.

Exceptional Property and Host

The home was perfect for our 3 adult children, their partners, and our 1-year-old grandson. We also brought our small older dog who we are reluctant to board. The home was immaculate and well-stocked. It was very comfortable and spacious. The host was easy to contact and responded to emails promptly. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
