When it comes to holidays, we know you like to keep it interesting. You’ve done the fancy luxury hotel stay, and you’ve hostel-hopped along the coast. Cosy cabin? Darling B&B? Check and check. You even camped in the wilderness for two weeks without running water, but we know you don’t like to talk about that trip. Think you’ve seen it all? Not so fast. If you haven’t stayed at a guest house in Dumaguete, you’re seriously missing out.

Guesthouses in Dumaguete take it up a notch. Forget being a tourist. When you stay at a guest house, you’ll earn your local stripes in no time. Get to know the neighbours, whip up some breakfast in your private kitchen, and stake out the local pub. No doubt you’ll fool everyone into thinking you’re a native. Once you step into your guest house, it’ll feel like your own. Go on, make yourself at home. Turn on the telly and put up your feet. Have a question or need recommendations? No worries; the property owner is usually just a stone’s throw away. Being an honorary local never felt so good!
