The property was gorgeous the breakfast in the morning hit the spot before we walked 29 miles around and checked out the sites. Felt safe day and night

Although expensive, we splurged on a room with a balcony, fire place, and hot tub. It was so quiet and comfy. We enjoyed the wrap around balcony with the view of Lake Superior and the light house. If you would like to be located in Canal Park this was the best place to stay. The free breakfast was very tasty with plenty of warm food with make your own waffles. There were continental breakfast options as well. Great place and friendly staff. We will stay again. It was a great hotel for our first ever visit to Duluth.

This property is located in the lovely Canal Park neighborhood of Duluth, MN. There were carriage rides available on the south end of the property. The pool was clean (a little heavy on the chlorine) and safe. There was a lot of walking area surrounding the property and a beach less than a block away.

124 is the room from hell

We were stuck with room 124. Don't ever stay in this the room. The environmental and ambient noise from the hallway, breakfast area, and floor above is insane. If you're a light sleeper, good luck.

The room was perfect. The view was beautiful. We went for a walk and went to the bridge and the lighthouse. We went shopping. We swam in the pool. The facilities were clean. Breakfast was perfect with lots of variety. It was a great vacation.

Family-friendly, customer service was great, walkable distance to lift bridge, pier, rose gardens and many favorite restaurants. Pool was clean. Continental breakfast had many choices.
