do not book. This is in remote corner. Overcharged no facilities. AC was not working. They have kept all control buttons hidden making it difficult to operate. if you call housekeeping, they would keep and it work for a short while before it dies out. They did not allow to use the gym. No water available in the hotel to refill !!!! Basic amenities are missing. Just show ! no substance

We enjoyed the heritage and architecture of the hotel. The exterior gardens and landscaping were well maintained. The hotel room was large and comfortable. The food at the Talevera restaurant was good and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety. The front desk staff provided poor service. They gave inconsistent messages about the breakfast buffet telling us it was complimentary and the following day another staff member denied we had complimentary breakfast and stated we had only 20% off food and beverage. The staff were aloof and not accommodating. During another encounter I had asked the front desk for a bottle of water only to be told it was only complimentary on the first night of our stay. She instructed I would have to use room service in order to get a bottle of water. The response was upsetting and frustrating as I had to pay 4€ for the water and 6€ room delivery charge!! Unfortunately because of these poor experiences I won’t be staying at this hotel in the future.

Quiet area south of Dublin but easy to catch a taxi into the central city. Huge grounds that were great for walking around with a kid (they loved the "Secret Garden"). Bar and Lounge area is very cool and breakfast buffet in the garden was a hit with the family.

The staff was wonderful but the 5 star rating is a far reach even four. The priority is run down there is no concierge or bell hop. Aisling, Anthony and staff make is a nice place but I expected it to be higher quality for this rating

What a beautiful property! The hotel is about a 20 minute easy bus ride into downtown Dublin (the stop is just outside the hotel). The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is FANTASTIC. Rooms are a little dated, but that can easily be overlooked for the other positive things. We would recommend and would stay again!

The staff were excellent and so friendly and welcoming. The food was very good also. The grounds of the hotel are very well kept and it’s a bonus having parking. Our room was fine, the bed was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel. The only negative would be the noise of the air conditioning but better to have it than not have it. I just want to reiterate again how good the staff were.
