Pros
- Excellent views of marina from some suites and balconies
- Very polite and service oriented (many Indian) staff members, although they were slow on the uptake (e.g., didn’t immediately grasp what we wanted) and uncoordinated among themselves (I asked for a saucepan and one of them told me it was already delivered when in fact, it hadn’t been)
Cons
- Don’t give you more than 2 keys
- Water pressure in the shower was variable
- Kitchen was pathetically stocked—had to ask for every little thing, from saucepans and frying pans to paper napkins, scissors (which when finally delivered didn’t even work that well), and wine glasses
- We would have liked 2 suites on the same floor (we were a large grp), but we were given “upgraded” suites on 2 different floors, which turned out to be a “curse in disguise”
- Key suddenly stopped working
- Shower was clogged up
- Archaic systems: kitchen has “gas button”
- Piddly balconies
- Didn’t give us 2 apartments on the same floor even though they had them
- Didn’t call back with info on laundry for 20 min, despite promising to do so
- Didn’t return laundry the same day, despite promising to do so
- At the bfast area, service is quite bad. They don’t proactively offer water. And when they do, they only offer it to the person asking for it, not to the whole group.
- Chef isn’t there at the omelette station and needs to be sent for often.
So, net nett, i wouldn't stay there again. Not sure why it is highly rated by other visitors
