The only issue I had was that I purchased half board at the hotel, but for some reason it didn't register on their system, and that was the case for my entire stay. So every time I went for a meal or breakfast, I had to explain what had happened and that the staff would need to contact reception to confirm. The staff were always polite about this and I never encountered any obstacles regarding this, but it was rather annoying. Separately, I faced major issues booking via expedia, as I had initially paid for half board via expedia, but for some reason it wasnt showing on my booking confirmation. This is a technical issue on Expedia. I contacted Expedia and explained what had happened, even explained to them that I had paid the higher price due to the inclusion of the half board, but their response was that prices are dynamic and that I hadnt paid for half board.

We had an incredible stay at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The photos of the property don’t do it justice—it is exceptionally clean, luxurious, and quiet. Our room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend it!

Looks like the hotel has focused more on the outside. Lobby was grand and looked majestic. Restaurants, shops and bathrooms in common areas were immaculate. But the room we had was showing it's age. In the closet the hanger bar was tapped up to sitck on. There was mold on the corners of bathroom door. The seaview was not seen as you wake up in the morning. Instead you just see the wall. They should consider moving the headboard to the opposite wall for a better view. Balcony was blocked by some kind of drain system, which also limited the size of the balcony and the view. Everything was super expensive and probably not worth it. Hotel is not close to anything except the beach. So it was quite costly to go in and out of the hotel. All in all, it was an average stay.

I travel to this hotel regularly during school holidays and it is my favourite for safety, opulence, incredible food and service. My 12 year old loves that I can take him to the gym, it’s easy to travel to marina:JBR area from here & the pool area is busy but good. Value for money is incredible & I can’t wait to return again at Easter. Staff in check in and check out are incredible.
