We had a drilling noise above our room at 6pm on Sat. night. We called guest services to complain & were informed this was scheduled maintenance which would go till 10pm so we accepted a choice to change rooms which was not confirmed until 9pm, 3 hours later. The next morning I complained to reception who first said they were not aware of any maintenance, then the manager repeated the same thing. I was then told it could have been an emergency or some works outside the hotel. The manager, Gaukar basically did not listen or take my issue seriously and see it from the customers viewpoint which is what a “supposedly” world class hotel should be all about. I left frustrated, never to return and will share my horrible experience so others avoid it.
