The Newcastle Country Inn was a great place to stay. The room was small, but very cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The Inn is in a quiet neighborhood in a lovely town. The room was super clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast and the coffee was good. The check in gentlemen were very friendly and a pleasure to chat with. We would stay at the newcastle again.

The host was lovely. It was a bit weird to have to remove shoes and wear slippers to check in. Although it is advertised as a B & B you do have to pay extra for breakfast, which is fine, just good to know. The breakfast was generous. Very small room. The air conditioner stopped from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am and air fell stuffy. The breakfast was not representative for the amount charged. The moment that we informed the host that we were not going to stay for the duration of the time booked, she made us feel unwelcome. She has a no shoes policy in the, that I respected. But while bringing our luggage to the car, I forgot to remove them on the second trip. She got in my way and started to insult me. This was not appreciated.
