Beautiful suite and the hot tub was so appreciated after hiking in the highlands. Staff were friendly and dinner at the restaurant was incredible. We weren’t able to book dinner online, but they ensured we were able to attend in arrival. We had a wonderful stay. The view from the hot tub was gorgeous!

Budget room is in the roof space there is no lift if needed. Tv reception is terrible and there is no noise insulation between the rooms. Shower is good but bathroom needs an upgrade . £34 for 2 breakfasts so we did not bother.

The view of the room is excellent, facing the sea. We can watch the sunset from our room and recorded a hyperlapse video of the sunset which was magnificent. There was a problem with the shower: only hot water came out. The receptionist came up to address the problem. The plumber was called but could not come until the next day. He gave us the next room for shower, which is very nice of him. The restaurant has good food and service, and the view is also excellent. The building and furnishing are a little old. It will be nice to refurbish the building and rooms. No elevators for upper floors.

The view from the hotel room was spectacular. However, there were some shortcuts in the room that were disappointing. There was a towel heating rack that was on but didn't work and a heater in the room with a melted control knob. This gave us cause for concern with electrical problems. The hotel restaurant also had horrible service, but great food as I have posted about previously. There was a bit of a wait for checkout due to traffic too and from the train station with many parties checking in or out at the same time. Mallaig is a great town off the beaten path, though.
