B&B Ireland - accommodation in Dromineer

It's a decent place to stay. The staff is great. Just aging and so many little details in poor condition. And now this isn't the hotels fault per say but very noisy. Walls were paper thin and could hear other rooms talking and TV playing. Heater was on in my bathroom and the knob was broken so couldn't turn it off.

We rented for one month and it was the time of our lives. Jeanette and Steve are fantastic, The location was great to see all of Ireland. The home was great for three couples and the host helped with places to see and pubs to go to. Whiskey Still became our go to and Joe and Rita even made a special meal for us. I think this would be great for large families or like us, two or three couple's to use as home base. So much better than a bus tour. Again I can't say enough how great the host are! I would rate this 100%. We drove 2900 miles from this location and saw (according to locals we talked to) more of Ireland than most people that were born there. Did I say how great Jeanette and Steve are? This is a can't miss.

This is the third time we have stayed at GarryUrra over Christmas and the house never disappoints. The setting is idyllic with a gorgeous lake view. The kitchen is well-appointed to cook Christmas dinner for a large group. Our son told us that he was hit by "a wave of nostalgia" visiting the house where he has spent 2 prior Christmas vacations, so we think that says it all.
