After a day of hiking, sightseeing, fishing, or shopping in Estes Park, return to the warmth and comfort of your private cabin. Large windows fill the home with natural light and frame the river scenery, while the inviting living room provides a relaxing place to reconnect, read, stream a favorite show, or plan the next day’s adventure.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from a quick breakfast to a special dinner. It is especially convenient for extended stays, family trips, and Thanksgiving getaways.

A DECK YOU’LL NEVER WANT TO LEAVE

The riverside deck is the heart of the cabin. Listen to the Big Thompson flow past, watch trout rise, photograph passing wildlife, share a meal, or unwind beneath Colorado’s brilliant evening skies.

Private river access is just steps away, giving anglers the freedom to enjoy an early-morning or late-afternoon fishing session without leaving the property. Even if you never cast a line, the sights and sounds of the river create a peaceful atmosphere that is difficult to find closer to town.

WHAT GUESTS LOVE ABOUT THE AREA

Guests love being close enough to enjoy Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park while having a peaceful place to escape the activity at the end of the day.

* Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife watching

EXPERIENCE ESTES PARK IN OCTOBER

October is one of the most memorable times to visit Estes Park. Golden aspens brighten the mountain landscape, cooler temperatures make hiking comfortable, and elk are frequently seen and heard throughout the area during the fall season.

Explore Rocky Mountain National Park, photograph autumn scenery, watch wildlife from a respectful distance, browse the shops in downtown Estes Park, and enjoy local restaurants and breweries—then retreat to your quiet cabin along the river.

ENJOY THE PEACEFUL SIDE OF THE ROCKIES IN NOVEMBER

November is perfect for travelers who value tranquility, flexibility, and quality time together. With the busiest travel season behind you, it is easier to enjoy uncrowded trails, relaxed meals in town, scenic drives, wildlife viewing, and unhurried evenings at the cabin.

Plan a romantic escape, celebrate Thanksgiving in the mountains, take a restorative break before the holidays, or settle in for a productive workcation surrounded by river and mountain views. Seasonal weather can vary, making every November stay a unique Colorado experience.

MINUTES FROM ADVENTURE

Use the cabin as your home base for:

* Hiking and wildlife watching in Rocky Mountain National Park
* Fly fishing on the Big Thompson River
* Exploring downtown Estes Park
* Scenic drives and fall photography
* Shopping, dining, breweries, and coffee shops
* Horseback riding and other seasonal activities
* Quiet days spent reading, relaxing, and reconnecting by the river

Some high-elevation roads and activities are weather-dependent in late fall, but Rocky Mountain National Park and the Estes Park area offer plenty to experience throughout October and November.

STAY LONGER OR WORK FROM THE RIVER

Reliable high-speed WiFi and peaceful surroundings make the cabin an inspiring place to work remotely. Start the morning with river views, stay productive during the day, and spend the late afternoon fishing, exploring Estes Park, or watching the sunset over the mountains.

Whether you are planning a fall-color adventure, fly-fishing getaway, romantic weekend, Thanksgiving in the Rockies, or quiet November retreat, this private Big Thompson River cabin offers the authentic Colorado experience guests return for year after year.

October and November dates are limited. Reserve your riverfront escape and experience Estes Park at its most peaceful and unforgettable.

Hosts were very responsive leading up to our booking. The property has an unusual, but charming layout. If you book this cabin, you will want to spend as much time as possible on the patio listening to the river. Great access to Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Also not terribly far to get to Boulder or Fort Collins for those visiting CSU like we were.

Fantastic place that is nicely outside of town. Enjoyed the quiet. Overall place was clean and comfortable. Living room furniture is very nice. Only issues were lack of curtains throughout the property. I am weird when it comes to that so it may just be a me thing. Would recommend if you like to be outside of town and have access to river

The cabin was great. being a native to Colorado and having the ability to go to the mountains and get out of the city to a beautiful place was great. The cabin was clean and we all loved the porch over looking the Big Thompson River. My daughter and her friends really loved the cabin and enjoyed to celebrate her 17th Birthday.

This is a quirky but lovely home! The best equipped kitchen I have experienced at a rental. The only suggestion I have is to add some lighting to the bedroom upstairs - it is very dark! Danielle was a very responsive host. The location was very convenient for visiting Rocky Mtn. National Park. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Property was wonderful. It was located outside of town, so was extremely peaceful. It was maintained great and we never found a moment where we were needing anything. Owners were responsive. Cell phone service was hit and miss, but thats exactly what we were looking for. Very unique property, and we had our best fishing days right in front of the cabin!

Great location: Quiet and peaceful

This cabin was great for our family. We all loved being on the river. There were two elk that hung out near our cabin. The cleaning crew did not clean before our stay, at no fault of the host. When we notified the host, they were quick to respond and had it cleaned quickly for us. Great host and great stay!

Enjoyed our escape to Estes

We had an absolutely wonderful and cozy stay! Great communication. Great accommodations. Great location. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities for cooking. The views are great and the home rests in a very peaceful setting. I loved sitting on the deck (and next to the open windows in the LR) to hear the sounds of the water.

Love the sound of the rushing river!

The host was an excellent communicator, and even volunteered to connect us with a fishing guide. The multi-level property is built into a hill right above the Big Thompson River, and there are stairs down to the river where you can fish for rainbow and brown trout from their property. Well equipped and nicely furnished.

Perfect location

It was a very nice cabin right on the river. Being unfamiliar with the area, I did think that the house was going to be more remote than it actually was, and you can’t really see the river while sitting inside the house. (Both of these things the owner obviously cannot control). We did have some elk come into the yard and saw an otter while playing in the river, which was awesome! Overall a nice house and convenient to Estes Park and RMNP.

Property was nice and clean inside. Exterior of the property was in need of some general maintenance. Property manager assured me she would address this. Everything worked as expected. It’s advertised as 3 bedrooms and although it does have 3 separate sleeping areas one of the areas is not at all private and is actually a bed placed in a breakfast nook. The location is perfect. Over all I was happy with the stay and it was a nice experience.

Had a great time.

Had a wonderful time. Beds slept great. Living room furniture needs a deep cleaning for a more fresh smell. Had to purchase a new coffee maker. One in the cabin is not the one pictured in the listing. This place is located in a woody area, but could use an outdoor refreshing, lots of debris on porch. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled very clean upon arrival. Owners were great to work with.

The cabin was clean, well maintained, and well appointed. The location was easy to get to yet had plenty of privacy and felt like a retreat. The house I’d quaint enough to feel like a cabin but spacious enough for 5 adults and a teenage boy not to feel like we were on top of each other. We were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving meal with the cookware/utensils provided. We had a wonderful time! My only recommendation would be to max your party at 6 adults (that can share beds) or else don’t mind sleeping on couches. My son planned to sleep on the futon in the master bedroom with us but it wasn’t very comfortable. He ended up sleeping on one of the couches in the living area. Not a huge deal for us but always good to know.

Nice house, no AC

Love the location and river access. The property itself is commensurate with the cost. Our kids enjoyed the property also. Everything was in working order. Only complaint would be that we booked bc the listing said Air Conditioning. There was no AC. That was our main reason for booking. And initially the host was very responsive but never did get replies back for our early check-in or AC question (upon arrival).
