Lovely Waterfront Suite near Portsmouth

Lovely private entrance suite on the bay, a beautiful living room with a fireplace, for winter use. An igloo outside on the deck from November till May, complete with an electric heating fireplace. So cozy and charming. A very large bedroom with king size bed and a view of the bay, a fabulous bathroom and double shower. A private patio with great lighting under the pergola. This year we have added an outdoor kitchen. You’ll have an area under a roof to cook and sit having a meal. Kitchen is open for summer till late fall. Plus unit comes complete with great internet, coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge, and microwave.You will be delighted to find home made breakfast treats upon your arrival. Only minutes to Portsmouth, University of New Hampshire, Kittery Maine and the outlet shopping. NH and Maine beaches. Enjoy the outdoor hot shower and use of kayaks. I would be happy to help you plan your getaway if you need, I've lived here 40 + years and know the area well. Whether your in town for business, attending a wedding or visiting your child at UNH. this surely beats a stay in a hotel. Thanks for looking.

The property was exactly as listed. The photos are completely accurate. It was wonderful to be able to have the view of the water from the elevation of the upstairs bedroom. As described, there is no kitchen but there is a nice sized refrigerator that is thoughtfully stocked with bottle beverages and half and half for the provided coffee. Andra also has a little basket of welcome muffins on arrival. These are very kind gestures that are echoed in the overall experience. I can’t wait to return for complete R&R since this was working weekend trip. Thanks for the great spot to return to at night!

We had a wonderful overnight stay and enjoyed such a relaxing, quiet evening. The waterfront view was beautiful and peaceful, and the cozy igloo with the fireplace made the experience feel extra special. The area was very private, clean, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The house itself was spotless and inviting, and the host was excellent with communication, making check-in smooth and easy. Overall, a perfect place to unwind and recharge. We would gladly stay again!

From the moment we walked in, we were aware of the quiet and calm atmosphere. We were immediately drawn to the back deck with the warm igloo that overlooks the bay, causing a serene ambiance. The entire property is well taken care of and it is obvious Andra is meticulous with her provisions--from amenities to essentials. Andra communicated with us well--giving us all the info we needed to check-in, check-out, and what we needed in between. She offered immediate response if something was amiss during our stay, but of course, nothing was. It took but a moment to shred the cares of the world and to sink into the peacefulness of this property. We plan on going back soon!

Had a great time with the wife. The bedroom and bathroom were much bigger than expected. Sitting area and fireplace. And the outside igloo was amazing too. Some of the coldest weather and with the heater and a blanket we were comfortable enough to sit in there for a few hours at night and the next morning.

Andra has thought of everything and then some more. There were muffins, snacks, sodas, water and condiments left for our use. The bedroom upstairs was fabulous with a huge walk in shower and the bedding was very comfortable. Outside deck view of the river was also very peaceful. My least favorite spot was the downstairs, very dark and not a great 'kitchen" area. Overall, nice for our short stay.

Perfect for a getaway

House is very charming, and well stocked. The outside kitchen (although we didn’t use) is a great idea along with a nice deck over looking the water. Although this is a 2 family house, we never heard or saw the neighbors. A road away is very loud, but you absolutely do not hear in the upstairs bedroom. Clean, convenient to several towns, and good price for everything they have.
