Beautiful gite in perfect location

Perfect size gite for 4 couples. All 4 bedrooms with en suite well appointed. Everything you need for a holiday , well maintained and equipped , plenty of space and privacy.

A comfortable Normandy country house

My family and I spent one week in this cosy village called Doudeville. The house was perfect for us! Nice to be together in the social area that includes the dining room, the living room and the open well equipped kitchen. The 4 spacious bedrooms have their own bathrooms in excellent condition. The garden is large and surrounded by high trees.. There is a supermarket nearby.

Excellent 1 arrondissemnt location - easy access to transit, museums & attractions. Really captures the ambiance of living in an older apartment in Paris but with modern washrooms. Only minor items I would change - add electric kettle and lights over the sink & in the closet alcove in one bedroom

Excellent séjour

Gîte normand charmant, très confortable, spacieux, propre, bien équipé et proche de commerces et plages, tout en restant au calme. Une voiture est tout de même nécessaire pour visiter les environs. Le jardin est grand, à l’abri des regards, très bien entretenu. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain. La cuisine est centrale, ouverte sur la salle à manger. Tout est fonctionnel. Je recommande pour une 1ere visite de la campagne normande.

Vacances au calme dans un gîte tout confort.

Le gîte est très confortable, on s'y sent bien. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain et les lits sont faits à l'arrivée...que du bonheur. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'agencement de la maison et la cheminée apporte un petit côté douillet en hiver. A recommander sans hésitation.

Maison bien équipée et au calme

Ancienne longère normande impeccablement rénovée, au calme, avec tout le confort moderne (chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bains, ce qui est un luxe appréciable). On y dort comme des bébés. Seul reproche: quand il y a beaucoup de vent, la maison et le jardin n'étant pas très protégés, il est impossible de manger dehors.

Erg fijne rustige en ruime woning. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Slaapkamers hebben goede bedden en eigen douche of bad en toilet. Goede uitvalsbasis voor dagtochtjes naar de kust, bezoek aan Rouen en bezoek aan de tuin van Monet in Giverny.

Geslaagde familie-uitstap!

De woning is heel goed uitgerust en ligt op een zeer rustige plek. Het centrum van Doudeville is amper een km ver en je kan er gemakkelijk alle aankopen doen. We hadden heel wat variatie in de activiteiten: mooie landelijke wandelingen, uitstap naar Etretat, bezoek Rouen, St,Valery-en-Caux...

So muss ein Ferienhaus sein!

Zu siebt haben wir über Pfingsten einen Kurzurlaub im Haus Charlotte verbracht. Schon vor Reiseantritt gab es einen sehr freundlichen E-Mail-Austausch mit Jessica, unserer Kontaktperson in Galleville, die uns am Anreisetag herzlich begrüßte und alle Fragen beantwortete. Trotz des eher schlechten Wetters haben wir uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt, das mit seiner Größe und perfekten Einrichtung der 4 Schlafzimmer, aber vor allem auch des offenen Küchenbereichs und des gemütlichen Wohn- und Esszimmers genügend Raum auch für eine größere Gruppe bietet. Die Möblierung ist geschmackvoll in ihrem Mix von Alt und Neu, die Küche perfekt ausgestattet und die Badezimmer sind über dem Standard eingerichtet. Im sehr gepflegten Außenbereich haben wir auch stundenweise die funktionale Gartenmöblierung nutzen können. Hier vielleicht ein kleiner Hinweis: Wir haben uns vorgestellt, dass bei Sommersonnenwetter auch Liegestühle sicherlich gerne genutzt würden. Insgesamt waren wir uns alle einig: Haus Charlotte ist eine Top-Ferienhaus-Adresse. Sollte uns der Weg erneut in die Normandie führen, wüssten wir, welches Haus wir auf jeden Fall wieder mieten würden. Merci, Jessica!
