The grounds looked like they may have been really pretty but it was raining too much for us to check them out. If you're looking to walk into downtown Donegal you might find this one to be a bit far. But the trade-off is it's quieter and probably bigger rooms and nicer amenities. It was nice to have live music on site

Abs love the Mill park, we got married there and return every year. The restaurant is the best around, never tasted food as tasty and wide choice menu. Will be back again at the New Year

We liked the location and the area. The lounge was nice and friendly. The front desk staff were very brief and not so nice which is our only complaint. We arrived at 3 pm and then told us our room would be ready in 20 minutes. We came back at 45 minutes and they were still not ready and they were rude. We came back at 90 minutes and FINALLY the rooms were ready.

Lovely hotel shame about the service

Lovely room if you want a king size bed you need to be on a junior suite otherwise they are all doubles or twins. Great darkening shades. Nice shower and toiletries. Pool was good (need a swimming hat they sell them for €3) and steam room plus jacuzzi when they worked. A sauna would have made this fantastic. Pretty busy at times. Breakfast a good buffet hot and cold wish there was more fruit. Overall it could have been 5* but the service let it down , rooms not serviced till 4pm and reception staff just did not care 3 days to get our safe working they just did not own anything. Just all hap hazard .

Lovely hotel with disappointing service

The main issue we had was with Service. In advance of our trip I had asked for a cot which was not there on arrival. When I went to reception and told them, they sent up housekeeping with one promptly. When we had arrived into our room we found an adjoining door to the next room that opened. When housekeeping arrived with the cot my husband informed them. We were told by the lady that it wasn’t a real door. ‘Just for decoration’ I think were her words. We then opened it to show her. She put the cot across the door. As they went to leave my husband asked again ‘what will do about the door’. She told us just to leave it! It made me very uncomfortable. Upon arriving home I realised I had left my daughter’s shoe on one of the beds. I understand this was my fault, but I expected to be able to get it back by paying for the postage. Unfortunately I have been told that housekeeping don’t have it. It was definitely there, right on the bed, so clearly housekeeping just binned it. I am very frustrated.
