The Barclay surprised us. An older style Motor Inn with lots of room, very comfortable bed, little kitchenette and great shower. We liked the position to the waterfront and the lovely helpful staff. Indoor pool is great. Would stay here again.

Lovely clean room, a peaceful location, and an easy walk to city centre. The hosts were excellent, going above and beyond - i needed to check-in early as well as a late check-out and when it looked like my taxi wasn’t going to show up they even got me over to the Spirit of Tasmania. I’m not fond of travelling solo, so being looked after by such kind, caring people is a real pleasure.

This place was amazing! As soon as we walked in we were like wow! And actually went to ask if we had the correct room! Staff were lovely and helpful and even turned on the lights and heater in our room for us before we arrived. The unit had everything we needed and more! We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Devonport. Thank you!

Craig (owner) was most welcoming. The property is very well located close to the main shopping area, and the river foreshore. Rooms are big and kitted out with tea and coffee making as well as a toaster and microwave oven, and crockery and cutlery. It was good to have a table and comfy chairs to sit at, rather than sitting on the bed. Bathroom is modern and equipped with heat lamps which is a very nice touch on cold mornings. All up, an excellent property. We would stay here again.
