A perfect New Year get away

A beautiful little cottage, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We made the most of our short stay by visiting Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Salisbury and Bath. Being December it was lovely returning to a warm and cosy Rose Barn. The freshly made bread, butter, marmalade and jam were a lovely addition. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at Rose Barn and really appreciated the homemade bread and jams left for our breakfast which were delicious and such a thoughtful touch.

Two night stay for a family wedding in the area

Very clean & well presented. The weather was very cold for time of year & the flat was chilly. It would have been nice to have been able to turn heating on or have a background heater. The flat would benefit from a runner or rug or two to give a more cosy vibe. Very nice touch to have milk, bread & home made jams for breakfast. Overall a very good stay & I would return.

Lovely views of fields and flowers

Lovely views of fields and flowers greet you from the kitchen window. The Building is well designed and very clean/comfortable. We walked into town for supper and the Churchill Arms and enjoyed our visit. After dinner we walked up the hill and were greeted by stunning countryside views. There owners on the property, so sometime you hear someone walking by or closing doors, but the area is very peaceful and welcoming. We had a great stay.

The Perfect Self Catering Short stay

Rose Barn is in a lovely location. It is modern, spotlessly clean, and well equipped with everything you need. Nice furnishings with comfortable beds, and a large shower room. It is perfect for a one night stopover, or a short break . Especially nice was the fresh bread and breakfast items . A nice unexpected touch. Thank you very much, we enjoyed our stay.

A true gem

Rose Barn is the perfect hideaway from the everyday hustle and bustle. Our host had provided homemade jam, butter, milk and bread for our first English breakfast - it was fantastic. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with fields and meadows - and that there were several historical sites within reasonable distance. Half an hour to Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Old Sarum and about one hour (perhaps a bit more) to Lord Nelson’s ship, Jane Austin’s house and Windsor Castle. We highly recommend Rose Barn.
