Our stay at Scenic, Munnar - IHCL SeleQtions was nothing short of exceptional. The property exudes unparalleled beauty, perfectly blending the signature elegance of the Taj brand with the serene charm of its lush valley setting. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking panoramic views from the lobby deck left us utterly mesmerized — a picture-perfect introduction to this tranquil retreat. What truly elevated our experience, however, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were pampered at every step, anticipating our needs with genuine warmth and attention to detail. We would especially like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Harshita at the lobby, Praveen and Rajneesh in the restaurant, and Kunal, the talented chef — each of whom made our stay memorable through their professionalism and personal touch. Location was in a quiet area with awesome views Loved the sounds.like walking in a tropical jungle Birds and frogs chirping all around.like a symphony in surround sound Dolby ! Our rooms had awesome views and bathrooms had an open air ambiance with rain showers and soaking tub. Vinesh our porter and club car valet was always there when needed.Restaurant staff and food was also top notch.Wished we stayed a little longer.A must stay at Taj when in Munnar !

Situated amidst the lush tropical forests of Kerala's western high ranges, the hotel is at an altitude of around 3500 ft. Weather is pleasant with occasional drizzle and turns refreshingly chilly in the afternoons accompanied by mists that envelop both the hotel and its surroundings. Named aptly as "Scenic," the property offers breathtaking views of mountains and valleys, with mornings serenaded by the chirping of birds. There is a yoga deck, pool, and spa, where traditional Ayurvedic massages can be done. Rooms are spacious, some featuring private swimming pools and balconies. At this moment only one restaurant is operational at the property with a buffet breakfast and ala carte lunch and dinner options. Munnar town is 30 minutes away. Staff are polite and friendly though some need a bit more training and the property management needs to focus on this. Linens, towels are fresh, new and clean. I will highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit to Scenic.

We had a great stay at the Scenic Hotel! Especially the staff at this property makes the real difference. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. The service you get is really special. And so is the property, everything is new and well made. The rooms are big and luxurious and equipped with a big glass window with insect protection so you can leave the window open all day long and let the jungle vibes in without any annoying insects. We had an hike through tea plantations up on a 2100m hill wich was organised by the receptionist. Our local Tourguide named Akku made a great job by the way, many thanks! Regarding the food is my recommendation to everyone: book with breakfast and dinner included, fist because there aren’t many options around, second because the food! It’s absolutely brilliant, especially the Indian dishes! I would definitely recommend the Scenic to everyone who would ask me where to stay around Munnar.
