Fishing Resorts & Hotels in Papua New Guinea

I have stayed here a couple of times in the past, but things have gone downhill. The shuttle person wasn’t at arrivals and I had to go hunting for the van (the Hilton guy was a great help). Housekeeping failed to come. Door battery went flat and I was locked out fin30 minutes with three trips to reception. But the main thing is that most of the facilities are closed for long renovations with only one temporary restaurant and small corridor cafe. The pool bar was closed even though not affected by renovations. None of this was mentioned on Expedia - but is on the hotels website. Location is still good with secure access to mall - but no longer a 4star plus hotel. There are now better options in POM.

The staff were fabulous; very helpful and friendly, especially the cleaning staff and security guards (I met several, and they were wonderful and helpful). The room was a good size. It was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of TV channels. It was nice to swim in the pool. Overall, it was a really comfortable stay. The location is excellent, right in the heart of downtown, with good security It is an older property, but it is maintained quite well. The free airport shuttle is fantastic. I recommend if staying in Port Moresby.
