Hotels with Free Airport Shuttle in Bahrain

The problem with the Gulf are the entitled young people from a nearby Arab country that come back drunk, pound on walls and this time tried to open the adjoining room door. Think about it: you are asleep and are awakened to this aggression and craziness and then they are trying to break into your room. Not the first time I’ve experienced this type of thing. I understand that a hotel needs to balance pleasing those of a certain culture who come to the hotel for young drunk fun. I get it. But place yourself in the shoes of the person who is asleep and is awakened to someone trying to break into their room. I mentioned it to the staff and his response was, “you didn’t unlock the door though and he didn’t come inside.” That’s true. But the response is disconnected from the actual assaultive nature of the event. Would he take the same view if he was in the car with his wife and a drunk man aggressively tried to open his wife’s door? So, to summarize, I love the gulf, love the pool, love going there, but you have to deal with what I described above including staff that are more focused on keeping the others returning more than you. We’ll be back but we’ll know what we are getting into (we love the pool)

Good experience

The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, the rooms are nice and spacious, and the staff are very helpful and lovely. I enjoyed it. only point to improve is how busy the swimming pool was. i think either providing specific times for families or notifying when the pool has space because it was crowded over our stay.
