Great view! Filthy Condo

First off this review got a 2 star because of view and location only. So nice to walk out of the back door directly into the beach. But let’s be honest, can find these places everywhere in Destin. Now for the condo. The condo was filthy upon arrival. The HVAC vents in the ceiling had mold growing around them. Yes MOLD! The floor and baseboards were absolutely filthy. I opened the door of the closet to sweep the floor and there was so much lint and dust and disgust that I didn’t even want to grab the broom or mop from the closet. The worst part is on the wall near the sliding door exit was a quarter size spot of blood! Disgusting! The blinds were filthy as well. With everything going on we brought our own cleaning supplies and thank goodness we did. I photographed everything prior to us cleaning. On top of the filth in the room let’s talk about the atmosphere. I can have a nice time and enjoy myself but one thing I looked forward to was sitting on the back patio and listening to the waves with my wife once the kiddos went to sleep. Not possible because of the neighbors next to us having a party every night with there junk from the beach laying in front of our patio which made us not even want to sit outside. I would gladly pay double what I paid here to stay somewhere that monitors things like this and has a nice clean room where you aren’t sickened to lay down in the bed every night. No doubt the condo was cleaner after we left than it was when we arrived. Will never stay here again. Great location though
