Felt like encroaching on a family home

Well, I picked this b&b because of all the great reviews and have to disagree. I stay over 180 days a night in hotels and b&bs (for personal travel) and this place was unique. It was like staying at your friend's grandparents' place where you didn't know if you were really welcomed or not. The chain smoking grandma was friendly, but sometimes moody, and I never saw grandpa with a shirt on. No complaints about the room itself, but I felt like I was encroaching on a family home. Maybe some people like this experience. If I'm paying similar to what it would cost in a hotel in town center, I expect some professionalism. This place isn't for me.

We stayed here 4 night during our 48 day trip through Europe and had a great time! Great rooms, atmosphere, breakfast and the owner is super sweet! Close to downtown ands the harbor which made it very easy to walk to. We took the different ferries to other cities around Lake Garda and explored the region. Didn’t use our car once! Great stay and we will be back if we come to this area again!

Nice place to stay

Welcoming host! We really enjoyed our stay, especially the swimming pool. All the local restaurants and shops are a walking distance away from B&B. We would love to come back one day:)

It was good for the price very friendly Bed and Breakfast they allow children and dogs . It was like going to visit family but I will prefer to stay closer to the main center of the city it was a good 10 minutes walk down and up the hill also it is better if you have a car the taxis are very limited

Warm and friendly B&B

We stayed for 4 nights at BB Desenzano for a friend's wedding. We were stayed with other friends and we couldn't have felt more welcome-nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were well equipt and beautifully clean. Breakfast was a great bonus with a lovely choice of things to eat. The B &B was a short stroll to the lake and town-very convenient. .

Best B & B is Desenzano

Upon arrival to Desenzano we learnt that the taxi service wasn't that readily available at the station but the proprietor of the Bed and Breakfast was kind enough to pick us up at the from the station in her car. The fact that there are only a few rooms gives the property a almost homely feel and in the summer months the pool is really inviting. For service and complete value for money, I'd give the place an 11 out of 10.

ideal Base of visit

it's away from the main area in a more residential area but we found it easy to walk into the town there are only 4 rooms we booked 2 and they were clean and spacious the owner is friendly and attentive and very helpful we booked a train trip to venice and she dropped us up to station she can even arrange airport transfers if necessary the breakfasts are continental with cold meats cheese pastries etc there is also a coffee machine that you can use all day. the 4 bedrooms all access a communal area with tables and being a small place it's easy to chat to other guests. There is a pool with sun beds to the front of the property would we stay again ? if we were looking for a b&b in desenzano then yes we would

Lovely stay in lovely resort

Easy access to Desenzano (gorgeous resort!) and beautiful Lake Garda (10 mins walk away). Lovely hostess who went out of her way to help us, including taking us back to the train station at the end of our stay. Choice of continental breakfast bits & bobs, and fridge to use if wanted which was a nice touch. Wifi available. Comfortable, clean room - we were spoiled as also had a small balcony which was fab!

Perfect base to visit Lake Garda

BB Desenzano was about ten minutes walk from the station, Lake Garda and local bars/restaurants/shops so ideally situated for our short break. The welcome was friendly and the room spacious, clean and well equipped. Great value for money and we will definitely return for another visit to this beautiful area.
