I liked the Oberoi overall… fantastic ambiance, it has charm and art, stylish and business minded… breakfast was excellent… if I had to change something it would be access to funds… an ATM that didn’t give sufficient funds… they had a cashier that can only withdrawal 5000 INR for the entire stay!… definitely need better access to getting funds… if you have have cash to exchange then your good… I like to tip good service…so wanted to do more… other than that, it’s a great experience and will definitely come back when I visit again

When I checked out and paid for invoice , after while I realized that I get charged for restaurant which I didn’t eat. I told the staff and they pull it the receipt. Have travelled a lot. This experience was one of the best! Excellent attention to detail, cleanliness and sanitation. Staff went out of their way to help … outstanding hospitality. They have restaurants run by Michelin star chefs - really enjoyed the food. First time at an Oberoi hotel but made me a fan! Will definitely be staying at the Oberoi every time I visit a city that has one!!

The Oberoi, New Delhi certainly carries the weight of its brand reputation, and while it delivers on many fronts, it doesn’t quite justify the premium price tag in every aspect. The staff are attentive and clearly trained to be proactive in service, but the warmth can sometimes feel a bit forced—more eager than genuine. It’s a small detail, but in a luxury property, authenticity matters. Breakfast offers a good variety with quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes. It’s satisfying and enjoyable, though not particularly memorable or groundbreaking. The Chinese restaurant is a letdown when it comes to value. The ambiance is elegant, and the food is good—but for the price, it doesn’t quite hit the mark. You’re left with the sense that you’re paying more for the name than the experience. Rooms are what you’d expect from a five-star Oberoi property—spacious, tastefully designed, and comfortable. No complaints there, but again, nothing that really surprises or delights beyond the expected. Overall, The Oberoi, New Delhi is a good hotel that ticks many of the right boxes. But for the price you pay, you’d expect something more memorable, more exceptional. It’s a solid stay—just not the “mind-blowing” experience one might hope for at this level.

Great checkin and dining facilities. Close to the capital region and major landmarks. Used the spa and recreation center along with the business center and everyone was extremely generous and kind.

The Oberoi is beautiful and its own little haven in the heart of New Delhi. Many of the sites are easy to get to so the location is also great. The food is great and the service impeccable. We did an early morning tour to Agra and they even packed us a to go breakfast for the road as we left at 5 am. Highly recommend.
