OK stay, nothing special - noisy

Lots of noise through the walls/door to the room until very late at night and again very early in the morning. Complementary breakfast ok, (although coffee really not good!) - delivered to the room although they did try to say it was chargeable. Staff a bit grumpy but overall an ok stay

cannot be recommended.

If you like a layer of grime in your bathroom, someone else's hairs on your broken toilet seat which is "sealed for your protection", smelly drains, windowless " deluxe" rooms, air conditioners which don't work, trash bins which aren't emptied for 5 days, and no cleaning or offers therof for 5 days ( including 1 toilet roll for those 5 days) banana pancakes made the day before and tasting of garlic - then I suggest you stay at this hotel. Despite having to give them all my credit card details they insisted I pay cash. A grungy unmaintained hotel which I cannot recommend to anyone. How they got the reviews I based my decision to stay here on, I cannot imagine.

Bang for your buck with great breakfast!

Positives: Safe, clean, friendly staff, elevator, bottled water at check-in, wi-fi, refrigerator, great location in the heart of Paharganj area (but quietly tucked away) Delicious, room service breakfast included - we had the crepe pancakes with bananas and chocolate Negatives: - We waited over an hour outside the airport for the hotel's driver to arrive - I would arrange a private driver or Uber in advance instead. - No daily housekeeping service (to be fair, we didn't ask for it) - Can get loud in the mornings, the hallways are echo-y. Had a bit of a dorm vibe with TVs and conversations. I would definitely stay here again if in Delhi. The neighborhood can be intimidating at first, but was overall safe and a pleasure to explore. We ran into numerous beggars in the fancy/tourist parts of town and none in Paharganj. You more than get your bang for your buck with Hotel Cabana.

Wonderful staff and actual quiet room

I've stayed in many hotels in pahar ganj and this is definitely the best. Off the main street a few minutes it was actually quiet at night, a real blessing. Khan the manager was especially accommodating and looked after us really well. Another unexpected Delhi special touch. Thanks for having us. Room was pretty well house kept and very clean shower and toilet.

Wonderful stay in this Hotel

the location of the hotel is very convenient located near to the railway station and Metro station. the shopping destination canought place and janpath is also nearby. the Deluxe rooms in this hotel are very pretty good. the staffs are kind enough to provide upgrades if available. looking forward to a stay in this hotel next time in delhi

Great Place to stay in delhi for one night

I was stayed here one day , very good place , rooms are clean and staffs are very helpful , we want to go out of delhi so we kept our luggage for 2 days without any charges , they have a separate place to keep the luggage at the under ground Nearby hotel plenty of budget shopping streets available , easy accessible to metro station .railway station , they do arrange tour package for Agra for good with the sushant travels etc..

Just Think in India Check In Room

This is a modern clean hotel , right in the middle of Paharganj... not the greatest neighbourhood, but if you want to be in the action this is great. Double glazed windows keep out most of the noise ( if you have been to India you will know what this means ) the rooms are comfy, service is very nice, staff is helpful. Rooftop restaurant is nice with great and fresh food.i always stay in this hotel when I was in delhi.

Amazing Experience In Check In Room

A quiet retreat from busy Delhi, a clean, efficient, friendly and helpful place to stay for our first night in India. Delightful staff and delicious food. Very helpful in planning our stay from there, helping us get to the metro and with a wonderful driver to Agra on very short notice. Possibly our best driver we have had in India

Money Well Spent

I was stayed at check in room chuna mandi also at Hotel Cabana same place on march 2017. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. the price was very reasonable, and the location was close to metro station and main train station new delhi. The staff is very helpful in every way. The onsite travel assistance located just of lobby was great. They arrange a car trip to agra same day for cheap price. really nice travel its name sushant travels amazing trip. thanks for check in room and sushant travels....

Lovely Hotel In New delhi

I loved this hotel The rooms are big ,clean and modern and all appliance are in good order. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The complimentary drink on arrival and rooms are too nice welcoming touch. Hotel is an excellent location, right in the heart of everything and close to the main train station. the food is delicious and its a really nice setting over looking the busy street if delhi. I will definitely stay here on my next stay visit in delhi.

Awesome Budget Hotel In Delhi

This hotel is at walking distance from new delhi railway station. Rooms and bathroom were neat and clean . Staff were helpful and supportive. Free WIFI and room service were available. In my room WIFI is working very high speed. Food was tasty and cheap too...

The hotel staff and restaurant staff behaviour are nice particularly Mr. Rabbani and sehbaz in restaurant are excellent and helpful borders. I my opinion the rooms are not so specious but over all excellent for those who travelled around delhi. nice service and excellent hotel.

Awful. Worst hotel we stayed in in India. Sheets and towels were filthy and stained. We had to use our travel sheet to sleep on as it was disgusting. There are plenty of hotels in the same price range which are clean. Avoid this one!!

Unclean smelly "hotel"

Would not recommend at all. Bathroom smelt so strongly of smoke I was about to have an asthma attack and the hotels solution was going to be spraying air freshener in there. There was an old pair of flip flops on the very old and dirty rug on the floor that just looked like they'd been abandoned by a previous guest. The bathroom as well as smelling was dirty and the room wasn't any better. There was a window and a fan but they looked directly onto a tiny street you wouldn't want to stay on. The bedsheets weren't freshly clean and we decided to leave there and then rather than staying in such a horrible place. Definitely don't stay here.

Not quite what the pictures suggest

The Check In Room Chuna Mandi seems to be a front end which sends people to other hotels. I was sent to Hotel Cabana Pahar ganj which is by the Main Bazaar. The hotel looks like the images one sees one Expedia but rather older. I've attached some pictures showing the outside. I was there in mid-January 2017 and Delhi was cold. The hotel does not seem to have any way to heat the rooms so it got quite uncomfortably cold at night. The staff were helpful and the food was good. I guess overall I was expecting something a little better - on the other hand it was cheap and convenient. I marked this hotel as one which I would not recommend to a friend. However I would recommend it for a student or someone keen to travel cheaply,

Great budget hotel

Nice hotel, a bit hard to find tucked just down the street from Imperial Cinema. It's listed as check in room China Mandi, but the property is called Hotel Cabana. Pros : Service was excellent (manager were really nice and helpful), water was hot, the rooftop restaurant area was nice. Metro is walking distance. Nearby restaurants are excellent (try the kitchen cafe rooftop restaurant). Cons: Word of caution, property listing says free breakfast, but you need to select the breakfast option when you book your room or it's not included. The area is pretty chaotic but grew on us after a couple days. Bed was quite firm. Overall good value for the price.

Terrible hotel. Terrible service. Stayed here with family. The room I stayed in with my brother smelled of damp and the bed sheets were damp to the touch. The sheets in the rooms my other family also stayed in were also damp-feeling. The location is on a side-street in the heart of Delhi, however we were kept awake by dogs barking/howling in the street outside. The service was particularly bad. When checking out, the hotelier put seemingly random figures into the calculator, and we never received a bill. He tried to make us pay for breakfast even though it was included in the cost and then tried to charge us for bottled water, even though we were told at first that it was complimentary. Check out was therefore a long and drawn out process. Hot water in the showers is limited, so had to deal with a cold shower at least once. There is also a travel guy who offers to organise tours for you that comes by the hotel daily. This tour agency was terrible. The taxi's are bad and one driver almost fell asleep whilst driving us to Agra. We had to stop and make him have a coffee because we were that worried for our safety. Another driver told us that we didn't have time to go to one of the attractions we had booked for that day, even though we had paid for it first and had arrived promptly (we didn't get our money back). He then dropped us off a 20 minute walk away from another attraction we had booked for that day. Awful service in every way.
