Our brief, less-than-24-hour stay at Hyatt Regency Dehradun was unexpectedly one of the most memorable part of our Uttarakhand vacation! From the warm welcome, delightful high-tea with live music, and fun kids' pizza class, the breathtaking view surrounding the property to the scrumptious breakfast and gorgeous, spacious room, everything was exceptional. But the true gem was Savleen Kaur. Her extraordinary warmth and dedicated attentiveness were beyond anything we've ever experienced in our global travels. She made our son feel uniquely special from arrival to departure and consistently ensured our comfort. Savleen alone is reason enough for us to return to this exceptional hotel.

Beyond appalling - my mother got sick so we cancelled our stay at the last minute with Hotels.com. Bizarrely Hotels.com could not reach the Hyatt so the cancellation was not done. Nevertheless, the Hyatt did not mark me as a "no show" (in which case they should have charged me for 1 night), but instead charged me for 2. Shocking ethics.

Hyatt top management failure towards hospitality

The hotel was more like a mela ground. They were heavy overbooked . It took around 1 hour for the luggage to get collected from the room to the lobby , never experienced anything like that . Also very bad or I should say no house keeping at all . I think the staff were trying to do the best but the main problem lies in the mgt of this hotel , totally in experienced top managers of the hotel , not at all bothered about guest hospitality .all they were interested was in revenue . Nice but not tranquil.

It is located in a very bustling area of DehraDhun, set back from the main road. Unfortunately due to the huge amount of development in the area, it’s not as tranquil as one would expect. On top of that, inside is loud as well with music blaring in lobby and restaurants. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful and the food was delicious. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you are not expecting a super peaceful place, then I think you will enjoy this hotel.
