The cabin was very inviting. Beds and outdoor furniture we're comfortable. Having a propane fireplace inside, the jacuzzi and the outdoor fire pit was a nice plus after a long day. The hiking trails within the community were amazing. I would recommend using the walking sticks that were provided. The driveway is very steep. We had to unload our luggage off the rack of our vehicle at the bottom of the road and put the luggage inside the vehicle with the rack in the up position to get up the driveway. We have a front wheel drive vehicle.Susan had great communication with us at all times. She does have multiple additional vacation rentals which is nice to know. We will be coming back again in the future. Thank you so much for an awesome trip!

Great house but would not recommend to elderly or anyone unsure of balance. There are a lot of steps on rocky ground. Very quite. Enjoyed visiting Leatherwood which is close by.

Our host was quick to respond to any questions. Property was clean and kid friendly.Creek was perfect for the kids to play. Road to creek can be difficult to access after heavy rain due to mud and gravel. There was plenty to keep us busy.Had a nice visit.

Serene mountain cabin
Our cabin was very clean, quiet and well equipped with everything possible for a comfortable stay. We loved the outdoor deck with grill overlooking a lush forest. We were able to use the outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for all our meals. My daughter used the pack and play for her 3 month old son. We will definitely stay here again. Check in/ out was super easy.

Great stay
This house was reallllyyyy great for our family!! Can’t wait to come back again. The neighborhood pool wasn’t open(mid June) however so that was a bummer. Kitchen/ bed rooms everything was clean and great, especially the kids room! Living room couch was a bit small for our family of 5 but that’s to be expected.

An Adventure Awaits!
Me, my husband and two adult friends rented this cabin in the woods to have a place to play Dungeons and Dragons for the weekend. It was an incredible place, with all the things youd ever need! The property has a supercharger for your electric vehicles, a hot tub, and fully furnished kitchen. We had a great time, and a comfortable stay. The listing was just like what was shown, and the property manager was quick to respond. I would definietly rent from them again!

Deep Gap Family Getaway
Overall my family and I really enjoyed our stay. It's an older house with some modern upgrades and decorated nicely. Perfect for anyone who enjoys hiking. We enjoyed using the community clubhouse game room and pickleball court. This is not the type of location that allows to just come and go as often as you like due to the fact that it takes about 20 minutes just to get out of the community but we were fine with that. There was also no storage for our dry goods/groceries as every cabinet is used by the owners so we pretty much had to take up every inch of counter space. The house isn't as secluded as I thought it was going to be. There's a neighbor down below next to the driveway and the hot tub faces that neighbor. If you are traveling with elderly, this may not be the house for you; the walkway steps are very uneven and steep. In the winter, 4WD would be a must at this location. It's not ideal carrying groceries up all those steps. I love that they are pet friendly and even had bowls and leashes for our pups. It was definitely very quiet, peaceful and surrounded by nature.

Lovely Spot
Great spot in the woods! We enjoyed our time in this home. We went up with teenagers for a college tour and we had plenty of room to stretch out. We also enjoyed the hot tub after walking around Boone for the day. We cooked dinner every night and had everything we needed. Would love to come back in the summer when we can sit out on the deck for morning coffee. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Excellent property with great personal touch
I stayed with my grown kids for our yearly trip. The cabin was stunning, beautifully decorated with modern flare. The owners had it decorated for Christmas which was a very warming personal touch. Check-in and check-out was extremely convenient. The deck was perfect for that quiet cup of morning coffee and deer watching. The fire pit and hot tub were a bonus to this location. We saved this for future stays and passed along the listing to others. I wish we could have stayed longer and just enjoyed everything the cabin had to offer. Perfect birthday trip for my son.

Deep Gap trip
Loved the upstairs, but the downstairs bedroom was quite small. All of the closets in the house were filled with the owners belongings, so there was no room for any of our belongings. Also, no storage space in the kitchen. Every drawer and cabinet was used by the owners, with no place for our food and snacks. And not a single rocking chair! We had a good time, but will look for a more spacious house next time.

Great House and Community!
We loved our stay! The house was cute, clean, comfortable, and was the most stocked rental I have ever seen. We loved the deck, pool, and fire pit, and had some luck fishing in the lakes. Be advised, it’s about a 22 min drive just to get down the mountain. Also, we did have an issue with the bathroom shower and the property manager was quick to address the issue! Definitely recommend.

Getaway
The house was cozy and warm. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. Very well equipped kitchen which was great because we cooked dinner 2 nights. There are houses nearby so it isn't quite as secluded as I thought it would be but it was still a peaceful stay. TV reception was not very good. Normally I wouldn't mind but football playoff games were on.

What an amazing place
We were looking for a place close enough to the ski resort that we could drive there easily whild still having an outdoor feeling. This place was perfect for that, located in a mountain, surrounded by trees and fauna, we had a blast. My kids were delighted by seeing deers almost every day. I was a little intimidated by the road, having so many inclines and I driving a minivan instead of a 4x4 vehicle but to my surprise never had a problem. Mrs. Susan was extremely helpful and I'll gladly recommend her to any of my friends that are looking to go on a vacation in the area
