One of my favorite hotels to stay at when traveling for work! Even if we have meets in Rapid City, we book rooms at the hotel Sturgis and travel the extra distance. Would recommend this to anyone.

I checked in after 7p, didn't read the check in description. Checking in across the street at the bar was an experience, I love me a local dive bar. The room and bath were clean. My room had no windows, so I knew this was gonna be the best sleep ever n it was. It's more like a coffee shop with a hotel attached, loved the smell of fresh coffee wafting down the halfway. Free parking, lot in the back and street parking

The room was good as advertised. The place seemed recently remodeled. My room was on the first floor - the floors are a little noisy at times, and you could hear people in the hallway if their voices were regular talking level. Room was great. Great value and convenient location. The coffee shop is a nice touch - free brewed coffee available to guests. Hotel part of the business is very eco-friendly with the complimentary toiletries and nice they have paper cups instead of plastic. Odd thing is that almost everything that the coffee shop has is wrapped or stored in plastic - all the stir stick options are plastic.

No mention that you have to get the hotel key across the street at the bar. Then the hotel key itself wasnt allowing us to get in. Get into the room and thier is no toilet paper. So we're off to a great start :-) 5 stars!
