Well first thing is paying $9.50 a day for parking is ridiculous. Faceplate off the plug in. Not microwave in the rooms. Having to put a pass code in the gate to go on the beach.

Nice beach and pool! Bed was comfy, linens clean and bathroom was clean. Overall though the room was a bit run down for as much as we paid for the weekend. The bathroom door was coming apart, looked like it had been patched numerous times, you had to push in the bottom on opposite side to get out of the bathroom. There were several stains on carpeting, threshold by slider was also broken. Staff was very friendly but the hotel could invest a little more money on upkeep of the property. Breakfest buffet was also a complete joke.

Because our AC went out we booked 4 nights here. Knew it was on the cheaper side so didn’t have huge expectations. Found gobs of hair in the shower. Never had any housekeeping services while we were there. Not the best clientele. On check in the lobby smelled like weed

Terrible experience.

We arrived at check in time and they had no rooms available. They ended up telling a long line of people they had to wait to turnover all of their rooms. Poor planning lead to no linens or towels. Further, this meant that the rooms were rushed and left dirty with gross floors, hair in sinks. Halfway through our stay our keys from two separate rooms just stopped working. The temperature on the floors were 80 degrees. It was just not a great experience.

Great pool and patio.

Best location, great pool. Friendly staff, nice rooms, great bed and bedding, clean room and bright clean bathroom with a great shower. The beach is not handicap accessible from the hotel. Parking not so hot but we didn't have a car. They could use a LOT more umbrellas, there are only 5 and none for the loungers. Luckily it was very slow for our mid-week, pre-season stay.

Hotel, great; Hotels.com, not so much...

Our stay April 25 - 27, started with while checking in, the authorization form stated prices (per night, fees and total) that were very different. I made a call to Hotels.com and after going back and forth, I was told I'd be refunded. The representative stated that she was going to call the hotel and inform them to refund me and get back on the phone with me to confirm that they will be moving forward with the refund. Well it is now May 7th and still no refund... I'll be calling tomorrow. Holiday Inn, itself, was a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, stocked toiletries, beautiful view from our balcony, fire pits near the bar, average size hotel pool, direct access onto the beach. They do not participate in complimentary Continental Breakfast but they do offer complimentary coffee located right outside the restaurant in the hotel.

Had recently stayed at the property the weekend before and had such a great time decided I will come back the next weekend. Everything was perfect with the exception of the check-in. The young lady checking us in was very rude and seemed like she did not want to be at work.
