When we checked in they gave us a room that was down graded from what I reserved. I told them that we reserved a double queen room with a sitting room. They said since I reserved it through a third party they had no way of knowing what I reserved. I had taken pictures of the reservation and of the room. Also, I had called the hotel after I made the Expedia reservation to ensure I had the room I mentioned, They said I was fine. We had four people staying in the room and need the sitting area. After showing the desk person my pictures she said they had those rooms available and would upgrade me. It worked out perfectly.

We loved everything about Boardwalk Inn and Suites. Very nice, clean, rooms were perfect, comfortable, spacious and we could walk outside right to the beach. Walking distance to food and shops too. Staff was great also. We will definitely stay here again!

However, when we approached the bed and pulled back the blanket and pillows, we discovered yellow stains, visible dirt, and even hair on both beds. The bed sheets were clearly unclean, with dark spots on the linens. Since it was already midnight, we did not want to disturb the staff. Instead, we went to our car and brought our own blanket to place on the bed so we could sleep. We were extremely disappointed with this experience. When I checked out and informed the front desk staff about the situation, her attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. I am writing this review in hopes that management will read it and take action to properly clean and replace the bedding for future guests
