right on the main street, close to everything in Daylesford. good food in the hotel restaurant. rooms are very modern. good value for money.

We've stayed at the Royal in previous years and thorougly enjoyed our stay this time. This visit did not disappoint! So close to all the local attractions, shopping and easy to walk to the Lakehouse restaurant for our planned annniversary dinner. The Royal staff are friendly and helpful, provide great service in the dining areas and very clean and comfortable rooms. One small thing, storing clothes was limited to 4-5 hangers for jackets only and no space for trousers or skirts!

This was exellent value! The room was beautiful staying above the Royal Hotel, complete with a quiant balcony overlooking the township and beyond. The breakfast packs were a nice touch. A little noisy from the pub below, but what do you expect? Will stay again.
