If the weather is nice - and it probably is - dine alfresco on any of three picnic tables. After a day on the sand, rinse off in the outdoor shower and enjoy entertainment options at home including free cable, a DVD library, and free WiFi. More vacation necessities include central AC, a washer/dryer, and gas grill.

This Gulf-front home is a haven for beach-goers, cyclists, anglers, and birders. You can take a boat out to the 132-foot Sand Island Lighthouse, which sits roughly three miles south of the Mobile Bay entrance. The fascinating marine exhibits at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab at The Estuarium are six miles east, as are the wonderfully preserved Fort Gaines and the Dauphin Island Audubon Bird Sanctuary. Cyclists will also delight in miles of paved biking paths on the island - you can even bike to the ferry and ride over to Fort Morgan for a perfect day trip.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
